NitroHonda, diehardbiker- not trying to get into your conversation but I just thought I would point out that maybe there is a bit of confusion going on here (or maybe I am just confused). I think you might be thinking about different things when saying that "yes you can see it even if they aren't in jail" and "no you can't" (I'm paraphrasing). I was leaning towards agreeing with diehardbiker and saying that "yes, you can see everything even if they aren't currently in jail" until I read this statement you made, NitroHonda:
SO- I am thinking that maybe diehardbiker was really just referring to their charges (and maybe thinking of them as convictions) when making his statements and all along NitroHonda was referring to convictions... And maybe everyone was getting a little hot under the collar because of the mis-communication and misunderstanding what the other said... I hope I don't offend anyone by stepping into things to say this- I just would hate for people to be irritated with each other because of a possible misunderstanding and thought that maybe my "aha" moment could help someone else understand. Because I know in my county jail at least, you can look up someone and it WILL pull up arrest records for them, even if they aren't currently in jail (it will show their arrests in our county jail- so not a complete record if they have ever been arrested elsewhere)... And when reading through your debate I was thinking "yes, you CAN do that"
without realizing that I was thinking about arrests, NOT convictions!
Again, hope I didn't step on any toes in saying all this- only trying to help...
