Hello. My name is Kristi and I am hearing. I originally taught myself a good amount of ASL back in 2010, when my 4th son wouldn't speak and kept failing hearing tests. Within a year of teaching him and myself these beautiful signs to communicate, he miraculously passed his audiology tests. Life then took some crazy turns and most signs were forgotten. I have been refreshing my memory and learning even more at college from our amaze'n Professor who is Deaf. I am also reteaching all my boys. Since 2010, I read a lot about Deaf History, Culture, and Communities.. not only is it fascinating and intriguing.. but it's just BEAUTIFUL.
