Working at Home

I used to clean houses for people. Dang! Need to get back into that. I used to make well over a 150 a day just cleaning two houses. Working 6 hours tops. Did a few a week. That was my extra money. On top of my full time job.

I have a home based business but the nameof the business cannot be said on this forum and I dont have any immediate plans to quit my day job, becuase I love my day job too. :aw:
 
i have been trying to get my own business like forever... the problem is i dont have enough knowledge to keep it running and i still dont know what i can use to make profits. i tried ebay but i really dont have much products to sell. i tried to create my own website but dont know what to sell. tried garage sale online but again... dont have much to sell lol. tried beads (jewerly) but it didnt sell too well. Tried to create a game but ran in so many problems that i gave up lol too many html problems and half of them i dont even know how to fix. so right now im going into school to become a teacher but man id LOVE to have a business that i can call my own. just needed some training and a bit push lol.

3 things id love to be...
a game creater (main focus is on multiplayer online game)
a teacher
after hours daycare

right now teacher is my primary goal
after hours daycare will be my 2nd goal
finally maybe game creator for fun.

I have a job outside of the home, 30 hours straight then the rest of the week off. I wouldn't mind an extra income on my days off, working from home. Do you have any ideas? Im a freelance writier with a background in search engine positioning. That could get me somewhere right?
 
I have worked out of my home for many years. It is just excellent as I am a single Mom and can be home for my son 24/7.

I am a Rehabilitation Practitioner and do what is called Supported Neighbor. Basically I share my family home with and individual who is Mentally Handicapped.

I make far more $$ than I did years ago when I was Managing Group Homes. Still, I found the people of this field of working in group homes very tolerant and willing to learn how to communicate with me best.

I also sell my art.
 
no one will hire me....heck i lost my job because i could no longer give the service quality they desired because i lost a huge amount of the hearing i had left to a mandatory surgery.....now no one will hire me....all my years of work were in customer service....cant do that any more...government check you say...they say i am not deaf...or more correctly not disabled...so i have nothing
 
you say that...how many doors have been slammed in your face....not enough to make you hurt apparently. crap...i am made to feel broken on a daily basis.

i am completely deaf and i have worked in customer service before... never had a problem. so dont just mope around and crying... get out of there and be aggessive you will find a job that is more open minded than others.

(by completely deaf i mean im profound deaf. cannot hear anything at all and never had a problem communicate with people. its all in ATTITUDE!)
 
You are not broken. People who do not let you try are broken. It will be ok. You will get an opportunity. Get ideas, get some confidence back, and have pride in yourself and what you know that you can do. If you recognize your own worth, others will see it.
 
I am dog trainer and while I am officially teaching for - and assisting at times - someone else at moment in attempt to get enough hours to take a certifying exam - before I did this I was in a position to more have my own business by charging for what are called "privates" - go to client's home or desired meeting location and have a private consult about what was going with them and their dog that they had contacted me for. I did charge per hour for my time.
 
I have a great idea for a home-based business that will make millions, but I need your help. I have enough red phosphorous, but I need ALL of you to send me as much Sudafed as you can get your hands on. I’ll cut you all in on the profits (yeah, that's the ticket), unless there’s some sort of explosion, in which case all bets are off and I’m going to need the address of Michael Jackson’s plastic surgeon. I’ll be the first person he’s ever made white again.
