be careful to bring your camera nearby the ocean.. the ocean air ruined my camera. I have exactly same camera as Eternity's. I ll have to buy new one.. to send my camera in for repair costs 250 dollars!! forget it, i ll buy new one.

It wont be ruined. Maybe it caused by heat ? or water/wet that came in it or you dropped your camera? Also my camera does provide for underwater marine pack (waterproof) so you would have to order it.

Gee, camera's are getting more and more sophistated, yet at the same time, allowing one to take pixes and loading it onto a disk, etc. and downloading it to the computer...instead of having to wait the usual time it does take when getting the pictures developed....

That was really thoughtful and nice of your hubby, saving money and then getting you a really nice big surprise...your camera does look pretty cool too...Happy clickin' away...hopefully you'll be able to master this camera and its' functions and eventually share a few of your trigger-happy photos with us!
