I have a question about pregnancy. I don't have a kids yet. I am plan to have baby after marry. My soon to be husband really want to have a baby so badly. I told him just wait for my health coming first. I figure it out my doctor told me to quit birth control pills due to Liver spots. I stopped take it. I will have a CT Scan on Sept. I asking my friends' opinion about pregnancy is ok for CT Scan or not?? They said it's not good for baby while pregnancy and get a CT Scan. I have to let my doctor know that I am pregnancy. It might give me a special test for my liver. I didn't want to have a risk health during pregnancy. I told my fiance just wait until my liver is fine and nothing wrong. What I can do?? You can tell me your experience. Please tell me asap. I will be worry less. :)

Are you pregnant or not? Sorta confused. by you saying you have to let your Dr know of your pregnancy.

Either way... I would not rely on what people post here. I would rely on my Dr.
 
I never had that problem. But I can tell you this much you need to wait.
 
as for me.. I will tell him .. pls wait till my health come first to recovery also tell doctor that not sure if pregnancy or not ...

my sister said.. Her doctor told her that when she quit the birth control pills and recommended wait 5 months to clean out your body.. Then start to get pregnancy :)

When you first stop taking birth control pills, it takes a little while for your body's chemistry to return to a normal cycle, so your sister gave you good advise. But if your doctor is concerned about your liver, I would definately wait to try and get pregnant until after the tests are done.
 
Did you ask your doctor for advice?
 
My advice to you as a first time mother, if you plan to get pregnant, I suggest you wait until you health is in good shape. Your boyfriend need to think twice first that your health have to come first before having a baby. But speaking of cat scan, x-ray, or MRI scan you can't have that if you think you're pregnant or already pregnant it can harm the baby. Check with your doctor first before you plan a to have a baby. Having a baby is a very very big responbilites and it not like getting a pet. A child will stay with you forever.
 
adopting is ALWAYS an opt as well... hmmm?? :) If your health prevents it and your soon to be husband wants a kid... you need to discuss it out first... maybe consider an adoption? Or whatever YOU feel comfortable, along with your doctor's advice as well. Your health comes first. :)
 
Go see and talk to your doctor ASAP. If your boyfriend/ soon-to-be husband really loves you, he will wait. If he doesn't want to wait, then he is being selfish! It is important you are in good health before you have a baby - for your sake and for baby's sake. If you might be pregnant now, then see a doctor and find out for sure. Tell the doctor all of your medical problems.
 
ALWAYS tell ur doctor that u are preg before take a test, x-ray, MRI, mammography, etc!!!
 
i always using birth control pills everyday and im really loves to have baby one days when im become married woman.

but my doctors DID check-up pap smears at me makes sure i have no cancer or pregnant and doctor tell me im 100% natural after pap smears tests.

my mom is nurse for CCU she know everythings when she in nurse school trust me
 
You're right to tell your fiance not to rush you into motherhood just yet. Better wait until you're given all clear by the doctor just like others said.

Wait at least a year or few months after marriage because first few months are all about adjustments and you don't need the complication of being pregnant during adjustment period. Just my opinion.

Very, very true, Miss D. Difficult to go through 2 transition periods at once. No matter how long a couple has been together, marraige is a transition that requires adjustment. That needs have been completed before parenthood causes another transition, if both are to accomplished with success.

No, I am not pregnant yet. I want to have a baby. I have to wait until liver test pass. I just want to know for everyone's experience with CT Scan during pregnancy that all. I just ask for an example what if. I talked with my fiance do understand and can wait. I am sorry for confuse you.

Ahh. I just want to know for an example what if. By the way, I am not pregnant yet. I told my fiance just wait. He isn't a selfish. He do understand and can wait. He is care about me. He just exciting to being a father of our first baby. We don't have a kids yet. I am only 26 half years old. I am getting marry in 2 months left to go. Of course my soon to be husband really love me so much! I want to be good health during pregnant. I can't believe about birth control pills harm my liver. I will have a CT Scan this Sept. I don't want to wait for 5 months. Argh! I hope it's nothing serious. Everyone will pray for me.

I had been taking Birth Control pills for 11 years now. I stopped it last Monday due to my Liver Spot since I was in the hospital for ulcerative colitis last January. My family doctor found it out when I took a CT Scan twice times. They were suspect about my liver spots. It freak scared me. I took a pap test every years. I am normal health and no cancer or disease. I am not pregnant yet. I want to wait until my CT Scan Liver test pass and make a baby. I hope nothing serious with liver. Everyone will pray for me. Thank you for sharing your experience. :)

I am ready for mother myself. But I want to wait until get marry. I am only 26 half years old. My fiance do understand me and my health coming first. We are together for 4 half years now. We are happy together. He is exciting to become first father of our first baby. I don't have a kid yet. But I really want to become a mother. I hope my liver is nothing serious. It take me 5 months to go CT Scan test. I hate this part. Everyone always pray for me. After liver test pass then I will make baby. Cross my fingers

No, I don't want to adopt it. I rather get my own kids. I don't have a kid yet. I believe we will have kids after marry. My fiance do understand about my health. He is a sound of exciting to be a father. He can wait until my liver test pass. The best is pray. I just asking for example about pregnancy and CT Scan between. I never experience. I am not ready for pregnant yet. I want to wait until get marry first. I have to focus on my health make sure it's good health no serious on liver. I don't believe in Birth Control Pills because it harm my liver. I took a BC for 11 years now. I hope it's no serious on my organ. Cross my fingers.

You can read my threads. I am focus on my health to good shape. My fiance know that. He do understand about me. He is exciting about being first father. I don't have a kid yet. I'm 26 years old. Can you read my other threads?? I don't want to post in same messages repeat. LoL

P.S. I know that. Babies are big responsible. I have to be patient and experience about motherhood. I have my own pet. I believe that human baby are expensive than pet.
