I disconnected VP 200 because there were many wires mixed altogether. I have computer, printer, modem, router, tv, ps3 with all cables, and lamp which may cause fire. I wish I would keep VP 200 and chat with my friends but if I keep VP on all way, electric between all of these things, will go bad.. and it is dangerous. So I wonder that sorenson will make wirless vp like VPAD from Viable or P3 from Purple? Any suggestions?

Jeff?!!!!!?!!? Long time to no see ya!!

This is work great for vp200 and no lags so far and almost 60ft between wireless adapter and router but make sure your router do have Wifi N.

network cable cause fire hazard? not likely. nothing to worry about. plug back in and no need to worry. IF neatness is your thing, bundle network cable in one trunk line and power the other, make sure nothing is coiled up, you should be fine.

Paging all local VP representatives on AD.
Distress signal.

Nah, it wont cause fire if several wires plugged. I have had four plugged and three wireless, its running fine. Been doin this to several customes, they heavily use networking as well. :p

No, it won't start fire. That is because the current in these high tech draws small current. Normally your household receptacle can handle up to 20 amperes, play it safe 15 amperes. The Sorenson VP-200 draws only .03 amperes. Router, switch draws about the same amperes as SVP-200. For computer and printer, depending on which one draws about 1 amperes (laser printer draws more, like maybe 5 amps). It will take ALOT more than what you have to start fire. The only possible that it can start fire is if you use wrong fuse/breaker.

I myself am technical support, and tell you I never saw a case where it actually start fire. It does not mean that it won't happen, just that it is remotely possible.

Some of you said tied cables together neatly. It depends actually, I wouldn't tie Ethernet and 120V cables together. That is because it can interference and can decrease the video quality.

Here is the trick to reduce the clutters of cables all over. You can set up your PC, printer, other devices wirelessly with exception of VP-200.

At my house, I have every room (Of course not bathroom and garage) that got Ethernet receptacle on every wall. My router/switch/NAS/modem is in the "Wiring closet". Of course that wiring closet got bunch of Ethernet cables all over. I got no problem with this part. The reason I do this is because I want convienent moving around my networked devices around the house. For example my wife wanted me to move SVP from one room to another room, all I do is unplug SVP from a room then move it then plug in and I am done. No re-arranging the cables is needed.

yep it does works using wireless game adapter connected to Ethernet port i used my old linksys gaming adapter "b" but i recommend newer one with g or n

Wireless Sorenson VP? I thought it was meant for something else, like on a cell phone. :P But let me ask and get some answers here since the title's just the same as I want to talk about.

Are there any programs we can download to our cellphones, smartphones, mobile phones, etc so we can use Sorenson VRS to chat through phones anywhere (not at home at all times)?

Which kind of mobile phones do you like the best and why?

Which service carriers do you use (monthly payment to) and how much a month do you pay for your cell phone services if any?

Thank you for your attention and I look forward to all answers. ^.^
