Everyone I knew that when to Walt Disney World said they would never go there again. They hated it.
Heard the same thing myself. That's just one reason not to visit Orlando.

Plus it gets expensive fast, you can easily spend over $100 per day for one person. And the long waits can get ridiculous for rides. Some take over 2 hours just for a 5 minute ride. :thumbd:

Thanks. I shall look into that. Oddly, I notice that inter-state travel costs way less than it would to go out of state. An Amtrak ticket out of IL costs $130 or more; for the Illini or the Saluki, less than $60. As for the City of New Orleans, all bets are off on that one.
I know these are so similar but interstate travel is the one that refers to travel between two different states. Travel within one state is intrastate travel.

How did I miss that? Gonna fix it now.
Chicago to New Orleans cost $254 for round trips, but only $88 for my area to New Orleans for round trips.
New Orleans is 5 hours away from my area.
U didnt miss it, you posted it.
I'm referring to riding that train in IL. The ticket is at least $45, even reduced, and combined with the Illini, that's not exactly ideal.
Why are you talking about New Orleans?
IL? Again... IL?
CB - you can go to WI or MI for the same price range as traveling in IL.

Because I've ridden the City of New Orleans before. Not a train ride I particularly enjoyed. Those tracks are rough.
My sister rode on #19 train to New Orleans and it was fine for her.
I prefer to drive on my own, but only cost $12 more than train fare for 2 fuel tanks.
