Will TV become absolute someday?

I am not sure if remember Dick Tracy and his talking watch , this cartoon came out in 1946

Yes. It's two-way wrist radio. It made a debut in January 13, 1946 as top-secret prototype found a way into Dick Tracy's hands. Dick Tracy and the police department started to use them exclusive in April 7, 1947. Today it evolved into 'Wrist Wizard', more advanced than Apple Watch included a built-in hologram projector instead of touchscreen.

I'm a little on the fence if TV will be completely obsolete. For one thing, what if you want to enjoy a movie with your family and friends? Kind of hard to do that when you're huddled around an iPhone. Plus even with watching solo there's nothing like watching a big screen TV compared to squinting at your phone.

IMO TV is here to stay but what WILL change is how we interact with the TV. There will be more On-Demand options, Netflix, Youtube channels, etc... And I bet you will be able to use your phone as a remote control for the TV. Well, that is already possible, sort of, in that with my cable provider I can go on my phone and program the DVR.

Yeah , I know it was a radio, I use to read the cartoons as
a kid , so that show how old I am .

I'm going to play with the title of the topic here. My question is, did you mean to say, "Will TV become absolute reality some day?" I sure hope not! Otherwise, you would be in the Matrix, being fed tubes and tanks of Dorito juice, potato chip juice, BBQ juice, sodas, etc. 24/7, and there would be no way out.
