Hey ya guys guess what? lol yep I think u know it...I just got a Wii! :D

My sister and my brother in law came today and got me one as an early christmas gift and I was really excited as hell when I got one and its really FREAKIN' SW33T. I have no other games expect Wii sports and tried it out today and it was just so relvoutionary and awesome at the same time lol.

I've tried bowling, baseball, tennis, boxing, etc...and they were all really cool lol I liked boxing and tennis the best. very memoriable and classic! :P

I would have to get a wi-fi adapter, an extra controller and the retro controller and a Wii game...perhas I would get Zelda. :D

Lucky I already got the SanDisk 1.0 gb memory card so it holds plenty more data then the Wii's mini HDD have inside which holds about 256MB. Really cant wait to try out super mario 64 again like the very same day that I got it with the N64 for christmas 10 yrs ago...ah the sweet sweet memories.
and Zelda...ah I should try that for Wii instead of GameCube version. hopefully there's a stragedy guide book for that too since Zelda may be fun but always complicated.

Wii may be the cheapest console in the market but its also the most revloutionary and most fun console there ever is out there in years to come. Brillant idea EVER, Nintendo! :D

Now I cant wait for more of Wii's future to come...

Congrats. When you get Zelda and a few games for the Wii you'll be set. I recommend renting or trying out Red Steel before buying that, or buying it for cheap. I get a mixed bag from some people about RS, some hate it, some love it. Metal Slug comes out next week, and that is one sweet collection, all MS games plus all-new Metal Slug 6! Now I want a Wii!
Have you gone online with your Wii on WiFi? VirtualConsole? I read that only a few games are available now..

Anyway It should be very interesting to play zelda with the control. Like a real sword fight :D

Hmmm I think y'all are gonna tempt me to go back to Nintendo cuz of the kids when I have custody of 'em to get a wii heh.

I don't have wii yet. But I bought Zelda. :D Because I should hold and wait to get one wii hardware. :D
 
Steel, way to go, pal. MUST get Zelda. I have a great news.. today, I am closer to seal the deal between my good deaf friend, dojosky and I trade a lot of stuffs and that involves Wii and Zelda for me.

No not yet I have to get that wi-fi USB connetor to try that since my PC only have wireless network adapter so...same with xbox360 also lol. I guess I have to do everything wirelessly anyway. I also have to get the retro controller too but they are really hard to find right now so hopefully by next week or so I should get them.

I do plan to rent red steel and a couple others thou I hope blockbuster wont be a bitch to tell me to use a credit card instead of anything else ugh.

lol funny you mention that cause it almost happened to me but lucky I caught my grip quickly and thank god for wrist scrap too lol

I was playing tennis on Wii sports for awhile and as I tried to hit the ball harder, I almost threw the controller out of my hand and I was like WHOA! lol but the wrist strap saved it for me. :D :rofl:

Awesome. Now that I got Xbox360 and Wii, I feel no complete desire to get a PS3 at ALL lol. I feel that I got enough to try more games for Xbox360 and Wii..even the Nintendo DS. ;)

I'm looking forward to getting Zelda, Trauma Center: Second Opinion, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Duckhunt, Mario Kart Wii, and so many more... :D this is gonna be rather interesting lol
 
As of this morning, I'm the proud owner of a Nintendo Wii console. :)

You should be able to grab a Wii if you are willing to look around, and ask around. If there are no Wii's , ask when the next shipment could be coming in(Most likely every week after tuesday/wednesday)

Lucky u. I was gonna take bets on who would be the 1st AD'er to break a TV with the wiimote :lol: whew that was a close call and I think the guys at Nintendo really thought it out well to include the strap on the wiimotes.

It is a new console, and you can see the remote. It is motion-sensed, which means the Wii console detects every little move you make with the "Wiimote" the remote/controller hybrid Nintendo has developed for its Wii console.
 
I didnt know the Wii have built in wifi 'til defmatrixense told me about it and that I have a wireless router in the house used by Dlink, defmatrixense and wolfboy have been helping me with this all last night and all day 'til I finally got the full details on the wireless router's model number and everything else, etc...then wolfboy helped me on it saying I need to update the update wireless router so it took me awhile to get it all updated ugh it was really complicated and stressful but in the end I finally got it working great thanks to wolfboy's help on this. I now got the Wii online (yes even Wiiconnect24) and you will notice that when the Wii is turned off, the light will turn yellow meaning its still online so I havent downloaded any old school games yet and I dont have the retro controller yet either so the first game I wanna download is super mario 64 but that have to wait...at least I already bought 2000 wii points online so I'm all set. Just one more for the virtual console is the retro controller and then I'm golden for the virtual console gaming. ;)

Oh lord, thanks god, the wait is over. LOL I think you dont need to use a retro controler for super mario 64 game, it is a gamecube controller. Correct me If i am wrong, a retro controller is using intended for nes, super nintendo, sega, and turbograhicx 16 games.

I don't know that you own Dlink.

If you own Linksys then I will help to update the firmware and its so easier to do it.

Yea, I know it was stressful to fix the connection and you got it.
