Wichita Doctor George Tiller Shot & Killed

Several media reports say Wichita doctor George Tiller -- who became a national lightning rod in the debate over abortion -- was shot and killed as he walked into church.

Tiller was shot just after 10 a.m. at Reformation Lutheran Church, where he was a member of the congregation, the Kansas City Star reported. An anonymous police source confirmed to the paper that Tiller was the victim.
