Why not kill all great white sharks?

Roaches are easy to get rid of if they are in your home. Bed bug are not. It took me 6 freaking months to finally get rid of them. I would rather have roaches over these damn bugs that feed on people!

Never had 'em (bed bugs)...but after reading about them and being ever so careful when staying in motels...I'd rather just pull over to a Rest Area, put the seat back and take a nap and hope not to get mugged....

God Forbid anybody bringing those bed bugs into my house....

And on another note...was watching the News tonight...and the schools are being infested with a "Super Lice" problem...seems it's a new species of Lice...much bigger than the norm.....

I still dont know to this day how they got in my house. It was 4 years ago and I am sooo happy I figured out a way to get rid of them and ever since, I have been paranoid about it happening again.

Super lice...sounds like lice on steriods. Maybe Lance Armstrong drugged them?

you seem get lot of bed bugs and roaches,i stayed in NY there fat roach in my room my friend horrified called manager who just picked it up flung it out of window,we asked for another room but i guy said they everywhere..we sat up all night horrified..

Sounds like the "Roach Motel"....and that's terrible you had to endure this...I would have demanded my money back and gotten another Motel room...There will always be Roaches, but people can exterminate once or twice a month to keep them under control...Same as for Restaurants.

i tried to refuse payment but he think i get no where cos risk you take in newyork hotles around corner from central park...saw many rats also two legged ones..are thses roaches native or brought in...we have alot of parasites brought in from other counties it ruin much cattle here and our tree are dyiing disease from other countries wiping out our natatioal trees.and my vet saying he seeing animals diseased from parasites from ffar east.to little to late no.the bed bags getting bad most coming fron abroad

if I could get rid of every spider in the world I would ...yuck..but I agree sharks aren't really a problem. They usually think you're a seal and nip at you. People just need to be more vigilant.

what ivory dish soap?i buy this flea stuff i do house twice a year thought of fleas orrible...i understand you have lots of bed bugs in states that awful.i bought a little hand hoover that got ultra violet light on it it zaps any unwanted little suckers

Yes, there has been a resurgence of bed bugs in the US the last few years. My husband, god I can't wait til I can say exhusband, was a bug guy for awhile. The problem is bed bugs are really really really hard to kill, and the chemicals they used to use on them have been deemed too hazardous, so they have to use other chemicals and they just aren't as effective. One of the things you can do, if you don't want to have to buy new mattresses, because yes you should just get rid of the things, is buy these special bags to put over them, eventually they'll starve. I don't remember exactly how long, just remembered being shocked at how long it would take for them die in there.

Because of my bed bug experience, I had to become educated about them which was something I never dreamed of. During my research on how to get rid of them, I learned it took 18 months!!!!!!!:eek3:

Yuck!! That's just not natural ;)

A few years ago I was working in housekeeping for a condo rental agency, that had long term units people could lease, or short term you could rent for vacations. We went to clean a long term one day that had a bed bug problem, the exterminators had already been there. There were dead bed bugs ALL over the floor in kitchen, the KITCHEN!! That's what I was cleaning, right after I walked into it I started checking cabinets, found one still alive and walking around. eeek yelled "out!! everybody out!!!" called my boss (yeah I could still talk on the phone kind of then) that there were live ones and we weren't cleaning it, no way, they need the bug guys back. I was freaked ALL day!! Checking myself constantly, I was so afraid I might bring even one home with me. Even a dead one!! it could probably revive itself, the spawn of SATAN!!!

If they got rid of sharks, the next big things are going to be manta rays eating everything down there.

You know what's one thing that mankind and the earth doesn't need and doesn't affect the ecosystem?

The whole tapeworms and parasites genus. The only good thing they're around for is to keep the yearly Darwin awards running.

It is never a good idea to upset the ecosystem by eliminating those sharks from us.

People in some countries especially Japan and China hunt sharks for shark fins which can be made into soup. That is why I think it should be banned.

Don't elimination the specs animal, or the whole world would be out of balance. There always have predator for reason to make balance.

Eliminations birds, we would have trouble with insects in house much worst to cause chemical become high-rocket in air. Think about it.

That's a tricky question...

But at the end, we're messing up the food chain.

Let's say there are three creatures... A, B, and C. We'll call the great white shark... "B". A is higher in the food chain than B. C is lower in the food chain than B.

What if A is harmless and benefits our environment a lot, but feeds off of B? If we eliminate B, what will A feed on... and we lose A in the process?

What if C is bothersome or dangerous for our environment, but is a source of food for B? If we eliminate B, could C get out of control to a point where we panic?

It isn't good idea to kill the shark and they are necessary to keep fish population under control.

I want brown recluse spiders to be extinct. :ugh3:

good luck with that.....I'd rather kill all pitbulls. moronic choice of pet.
sure females ok.
vegan don't like sharks killing mammals????? it been going on forever....called nature.....give it up.

Kind of moronic response you think? You don't get to kill all the animals you like because you don't feel they have a purpose. I could think of several people in Hollywood that don't serve much purpose but I don't plan their death...

I don't suppose you'd be so cavalier if someone killed your pet because they thought it was a "moronic choice of a pet..."
