*reading sob story from Sarah Jessica Parker. rme at her*

"Nothing in life comes easy," she said.

All the doors open to her and been giving opportunties. She began working at age 8.
Work? Acting is work?

Struggling family, everybody have or had that. *rme* at Sarah Jessica Parker.

She dumped her drug addicted boyfriend Robert Downey Jr in 1991 and met Matthew Broderick in 1992.

"He called me for a date. We went out, and that was it!"

Hey guys, call me for a date, please!!!!

Well of course she is rich and active in children's charities, raising funds for New York's public schools and working as an ambassador for UNICEF.

Many people would do stuff like that if they became rich, even I would.

I would raise funds for Memphis' public schools, instead because New York got too many rich folks there.

So where is my fame?

Yeah she has to stand in line and be in rehersal and audition and be chosen or not.

So that is what you gotta do...
In yahoo groups, you have to check in where they are doing audition and they be searching for actors.

Well me, I might think about it tomorrow.

Yes, acting is work...most actors and actresses work LONG hours (not the 9 to 5 shifts, but longer than that), and they must have a good memory to remember their lines. Also they have to follow the director's instructions on where to stand, etc....if they mess up a line, they have to repeat it to get it right, even if it is 10 or 20 times (Have you seen bloopers on TV?).
Soap operas is much worse I suppose, because those come on TV everyday as new topics that continues, so they have to memorize their lines for that day, and then when the day is done, they have to memorize lines for the next day.
Actors and actresses also have to stay on top to be well known...they just cannot let themselves fade away....that's why they do publicity stunts sometimes just so they can get their names in people's minds and on papers.
So yes, acting is hard work....it's not easy as you think it is.

Yeah same thing with singers, Mariah Carey is good example

Once she put out her album , she can't have a goodnight sleep... She gotta be on the road all the times. She doesn't have time to see her boyfriend. If she has children, she'll be gone almost all of their lives.

And she gotta sing and sing, stage after stage, tv interview after tv interview, and taking pictures for media and taking pictures for magazines, put on ton of makeup and hairstyle, and sign autographs.....

And if she gets too old, it gets harder to catch up with younger newer singers.

And she would have to keep working because she gotta pay that big mansion house bills and all.

And I believe some stars put out publicly stunt for tabloids because too lazy to be on the road.

Whitney Houston said she use drugs to keep her awake....

And Paris Hilton took off her bra to get notice in public.

I met Lou Rawls in person before he died, he was normal... He wasn't like those tabloids claim who he was.
