It is true mikemike only in France, Spain, Greece, Italy and Portugal .. The most interesting for taxes are England, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Liechtenstein and Germany

There are serial killers and mental illness in Europe, also they went thorough deinstitutionalization in 1950s.

In US, most states, you can carry CCW or open carry after pass the background check and get a license (some states have no license requirement).

Religious nut? It looks like you only visited Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana or Georgia, so that's not enough. You need visit any area that is out of bible belt like Oregon, Washington, California, Central/South Florida, Northern Virginia, New York and any states in northern, midwestern or west part of region.

Saudi and Pakistan are moderate? You are extremely ridiculous. You can be executed for being gay in Saudi and you can be physically torture in Pakistan. Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are far more strong religious than in US.

Really? Who is allowing serial killers and psychopaths to legally purchase guns? It's illegal for convicted felons (among others) to purchase or possess guns. If they do have guns they're either stealing them or buying them illegally on the black market. That's not "free access."

Maybe we can't all afford to fly thousands of miles to visit other countries. For Hubby and me, we travel thousands of miles each year just to visit family. That pretty much uses up our travel time and money.

The only other countries I've been to were Ecuador and Canada. Hubby's been to Canada, Italy, Spain, Japan, the Philippines, and Guam. Our daughter's been to Great Britain and Canada. We've also been to quite a few of the states of our country, from coast to coast, north to south, and Hawaii. We've probably traveled as many miles as any European, just not the same territory.

I'm sure not every European has been to the United States either. So what?
