Why Deaf films failed?[VID]

Deafilmedia, haven't you heard of niche markets? I am not going to say much more because you give up too easily, you even said so yourself and I even suspect that you are not talented/knowledgeable enough in this fast-changing industry; much less having the DRIVE/perseverence, etc that it takes as well as other things like money, contacts, luck, overcoming the deaf world's crab theory and more to begin to succeed.

I know it's not my place to say this but, at your age, don't you think that is a message in itself? Time to turn a new leaf and start something else where you can support yourself.

"Do or do not, there is no try."

Would you rather live your life wondering "what if"? Just go ahead and do as much as you can. Everyone have their reason for being on Earth, whether they know it or not.

If you don't have passion and will to suffer for what you love...then well...what do you think will happen?

I could own a business... but I need MONEY to do that.

I never wonder what if...

I did went out and try a lot of things...
I went to Deaf Expo... nice experience.
I went to help deaf people making their film in California in February, bad experience.
I went to film school, okay experience.
I went to Hawaii, Alaska, and all.....
I am making a documentary about Memphis... will show my film to
the public, after I finished with it...
I went to Deaf Film Festival, dumb experience

There are a lot of things I like to do... and I will do.

I could own a business... but I need MONEY to do that.
everyone needs money to own a business.. there's always loans out there.. even loans for those who don't have money to start it.. but must have a good business plan and show the bank u'll success..

there's millions of business loans.. some are tax-free in some states for small-business like here in minnesota they have tax-free zones for new business owners.

And you also said: "I know... ack..."

Owning a business is a serious undertaking and it can be life-fulfilling BUT you do not have control of yourself....do that first and then, maybe......

Deafilmedia-
Get off your lazy ass get and goddamn job and quit your whining! Simply doing that can solve ALOT of your problems.

You said film school was too much work - I honestly think you just want everything handed to you.

If you REALLY want something, you'll get off your rump and do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.

There is a saying in retriever training - actually several that relate to this situation.
1.) It ain't magic - its determination.
2.) BABY STEPS Baby Steps baby steps.
3.) Train like you hunt and hunt like you train.

Pick a saying and make it your mantra.

Just forget the film-maker for now.

How about getting a job at a small frame shop? I worked at a small frame job, and it was a kind of fun being an "owner" awhile my boss was away for his long vacations. I worked for four years, and bought some of his equipment before he is retired. Now, I run my own business. It is all right. My suggest you to apply the job to work with an older owner. You know what I mean. Please don't mess with your boss in his/her business.

My boss raised hell to me in the middle of his divorce. I was patient with him thru his divorce for six months. It was stressed out. After his divorce, everything went smooth. Whew! I needed to pay my bills for my trip to Russia. My father was supposed to give me a birthday gift for the trip, and it wasn't. I paid my bills and got over with it. All he care was spent his money on beers. I'm not a drinker.
