Who's CODA here?

I'm curious, who's CODA here on AD? CODA means "Children Of Deaf Adults." It could be deaf parents with only one hearing child, or a whole deaf family with one hearing child and few deaf siblings. I know one woman who's hearing herself, and her five siblings are all deaf, as well as her parents. That's freaking cool!

I know another one, but I don't know the details about his family though.

If you know anyone who's CODA, then post it here. (No name necessary, if you don't want to reveal their personal information) So who's CODA here? I'm curious.

How did you find out that "couple of friends" are CODA? Did you meet their parents first then your friends, or what?

nope - they are deaf too - they both graduated in my class last year
 
know why? because they learned from their parents which is HOMEMADE.

They are having a trouble UNDERSTAND my sign. I prefer a professional interpreter instead of CODA INTERPRETER.

All CODA I know are so perfect and they even sign better than me! :bowdown:
 
i mean i have one hearing daughter so that means my daughter is a coda !

and the fact here in this town in ca i ve met some terps who are cool as fuck and theyre CODAS and do even hell better job than others !!!but yea one time i had a lousy terp at college she signed S.E.E. whoa made me asleep haha lol
 
but i know some cute chicks who are terps here and signs very well ! so u kev will hafta visit california someday and make sure u bring the right bait u might get a fresh catch and take home a pretty chick babe with u ha
