Who wants to be a Mod? v.1mil

Alex should inview some nominators if interesting to work before he make to vote new poll.
 
Err... we can vote for who can be a moderator? I must have missed that memo. :lol:
 
I have got two suggestions on different options:

First Suggestion: Let the Alex and Mod team to pick the new mods. No discussion is made, no explanation is owed.

Second Suggestion: Let people pick the new mods from a short list the administration prepared. In this case there can be a poll thread where few candidates answer the same 10 questions given to them beforehand by administration , and give us an idea about how they would act or what they would think in certain issues. Then we could vote.

please avoid getting new mods that may become or create a clique situation...

I am a moderator on another forum which is different from this forum in terms of rules and regulations.

The responsibilities of the moderator on the other forum is that we have to read the posts and approve it to make sure that the posts are on topic, civil, and doesn't break the rules. If it doesn't fit the guidelines--we automatically delete it.

We don't ban people (even though I wish we could) because if we do, we aren't doing our jobs of moderating.

I been doing this particular moderator job for 5 years now......No pay, no gifts, all volunteer. :)

I enjoy that particular forum because it keeps in touch with my hometown in Ohio.

When I am done moderating on that forum, I come over here and "play". :lol:

I don't recommend you everyone vote.. making look uglier.. point finger.. Isn't good position.. Just best way.. keep quiet and let mod team work discussion first and ask person who want be become mod via PM PRIVACY.

Good post, GA and you have eventually made a valid point for us. Its true and it is all up to the mod team to decide.
 
Have to agree with GA on that... hope the admin and teh moderators can make a good decision on that as well...
 
Yeah, and they would have the hardest decision of all - cause there is so many nominees :laugh2:

Anyone is invited to join. However you're not familiar with the area, it'll be hard to relate to the folks.

Yes, I agree with you no more. I am tired of seeing some moderators were so clique and bs. :roll:

You know, I got a lot of spare time on my hands just sitting around in Cheri's stinking sock drawer all friggin' day. And I've been a valuable, thoughtful, conscientious and contributing member here for a long time. But did any of you even think to nominate lil 'ol purple me? No—of course not. Why? BECAUSE I’M A DILDO! This is the thanks that I get for all these years of unfailing service to you. Well, you can take your mod job and stuff it where the sun don't shine, 'cuz I wouldn't even take it if you all begged me to. Y'all can squabble amongst yourselves like a bunch of chickens in an overcrowded coop for all I care. I'm gonna take my purple ass elsewhere where I'm appreciated. Maybe I can go get a mod job over at plasticpassion.com. I'm sure they would recognize raw talent when they see it. And after what I went through last weekend with Cheri's drunken friends and that slobbering Labrador retriever, I can assure that I'm man enough to take on any job. Y'all just let a good thing just slip through the crack.

:gpost: that's why I don't nominate everyone but make my own post. I suggest Alex to judge himself which ADer, he want to pick to be moderators in his Forum.
