who use VPAD?

Very cool! Can you only do video to video calls with others who have a viable phone or can you call people who have an ojo, sorenson, etc.
 
i connected mine via wireless without any problem, looks sexy ;)
 
Colored me impressed. VPad now can call SVRS VP-200 with local numbers and directvp.

(make sure you have the latest firmware. to make sure you do, do powercycle on your vpad)

Yes I had gotten latest firmware to download into my VPAD+ today. I had tested to call S-VP200 in using my 10-digital number. working fine but not working to call back to VPAD. I will check to re configure port forward into my router later.

That's awesome. Everyone I know has that sorenson vp200. I don't like being stuck not being able to call people who have them.
 
We still need number portability on these things. No one likes having 6 different numbers.

Interestingly, I did a test call back to myself on my vpad+ at home. It also rang on my VP200 from Sorenson! Had to check the connection after the firmware upgrade, and it worked fine. Didn't have to reconfigure my router. Don't know about my Purple number, though. Seemed I couldn't get it to connect.

vpad have the wifi adapte so it only cost 15 dollar.. to get that that why wont work for hotspot. i have vpad and i like use it i understand how those thing work..

fyi..i hear that sorsonsen is not open the any vp product so the FCC req all vp to open any vp to use local nbr..

No, it not true... Sorenson already reg. the numbers with various while several are ready but while are not ready.. if they recent got 10 digits number may take one day or so...
 
forgot to add...

they may make you buy other one who doesn't have VPAD+ beside that.. contact with sales from Vaible first.
 
look at your vpad screen look at upper left corner the word vpad logo on plastic case if it doesnt have the + symbol next to word vpad then its regular vpad and vpad + has 2 usb ports and vpad has only one usb port thats how u tell it apart

As you ssee the VPAD logo on the videophone -- it will say VPAD+ which is the new version and it comes in a newer package box which is full blue, the old one is white.
 
I just re hooked my S VP200 and I got both new numbers within the hour. And it works great . Much better than it did a year ago. Sorenson is getting better. I dumped Ojo back into the garage since they were so slow to give me the new portable numbers and I applied 24 days ago ! And yes I contacted Ojo earlier today and they kept saying sorry have to wait longer for the new number. geesh !

just got me a new toy Vpad.. its neat..
I couldnt figure out how to call my friends VP 200 or call my home from job, how did you guys do that ??
i put vp200 ph # into it and click call it kept said "Calling" and does nothing..what did i do wrong ?
