Yeah, it's funny how music has evolved over time. In the old days it was Rock, Jazz, Soul, Bluegrass, Country. Now there are so many genre's it's hard to keep track. Music is a form of art and because of that it's gonna be subjective. One mans treasure is another mans trash. Personally, I don't have any particular favorites and just go with what my mood at the time dictates. On some days I like to listen to Rock. Other days Jazz or someting else.

Just saw the film about Ray Charles....
very impressive

Regarding deaf artists... SHE 's amazing as well. (Rockdrummer... you surely know her.)
 
Deaf people can make music.Look at Bethoven? And the Deaf man? Blind people can also make music like Ray Charles,Stevie Wonder and Daryl Dragon.
 
Beethoven was a great musician long before he started going deaf. And just to add, Marcus Miller is completely deaf in his left ear. :thumb:

Yeah, that was interesting. I would have liked to have met him. I wonder if he ever had any dealings with Pacific Coast One-Stop. PCOS was the biggest distributor of indie labels in the United States back in the day.
