I do, i freaking love it.
any one anyone?
who wants to play counterfactuals, its enjoyable for anyone from 8 to 80...

I love the show, but it is slightly scary.

Because Sheldon makes perfect sense to me, but I understand that he's not supposed to.

Took me a while to even watch it because I don't like the stereotypes I assumed it presented. After seeing the show, I was really taken by how well it was done. My only regret is that I didn't watch it earlier.

"What are all these paychecks doing in your desk? Nothing I want to buy has been invented yet", classic.

I recently noticed that the white screen with black text that flashes across the screen at the end of the credits at the end of the show wasn't just some corporate boilerplate. It's different every week, and usually pretty odd. Or interesting, depending on your perspective. Anyone else read these? (You'd need to be watching using a medium you can pause - it hits the screen way too fast.)

One of them:

Chuck Lorre Productions #396

It appears that roughly half the people in this country think that they're in mortal danger from their own government. That's a lot of people sensing a lot of malice and threat. I worry that I don't see it. Sure, I see inefficiency and incompetence, but I've always seen that regardless of which party's in office. And frankly, I've always welcomed it. I don't like my big bureaucracies to be cold, calculating, profit-making enterprises driven by a steely, clear-headed singular vision. A cursory glance through history would indicate that well-organized governments tend to enjoy well-organized parades, followed by well-organized ethnic cleansing. Which is why I celebrate the magnificent muddle-headed ineptitude of our democracy. As far as I'm concerned, a little confusion and waste may keep the trains from running on time, but it also keeps people like me from getting a one-way ticket in a cattle car. Are our tax dollars being misspent on poorly run social programs? You bet! Do we get more buck for our bang at the local Post Office, Amtrak station, nuclear submarine or methadone clinic? Of course we do! But keep in mind that bureaucracies who can't find their [removed for AD] with a flashlight and a hand mirror are not likely to find you either. To paraphrase bobby McGee: "Freedom's just another word for who the [removed for AD]'s in charge here?"

I like the show but have to wait for the DVDs. They mess with the sequence and keep inserting old shows to pad out the series.

hmm you know, my mum says Sheldon reminds her of me...THats Scary!!

I've never seen the show :ugh:

but then... I've never seen 99% of the shows out there either... this is what happens when I watch tv probably 1 hr a week. or less.

If geek get the joke then you would like it.

I love that part he dress up as Flash and knock and call name repeat in rapid until someone open the door. So annoying. So funny.

what? There is a hottie blonde chica in there. I love her!!

Love the show. Sheldon plays the part of an ***hole just perfectly. And the funny thing is, he doesn't even know it. Not to a full degree.

Penny's ok as a friend of the geeks, but I wouldn't say she is hot. Raj has the hots for her anyway.
She seems like the girl next door type of personality.

That's normal, at least with USA programming since they can't release the new episodes quickly enough.
Can you (being in a different country) get US programming on your local service?

I am wearing a BAZINGA! t-shirt.

I didn't like it at first, and at times I find it is too mainstream in its attempts to be geeky, but it's good fun.

I too have been accused of being like Sheldon.
