lol yea when i first started i usaully nuke the food or make pasta or ramen. But I learn how to make something for the first time it got me interesting then I learn and learn new things. It very interesting what you can make. I first made salsa with a little cheese in it every one in my family ate it all. It was something I made up in my head and everyone loves it. My mother(the chef) ask me what I put in it. So I got hooked.

Wolfboy -- ur mom is the chef so im sure that u follow after her in the kitchen creating various recipes and trying them out -- i just simply despise cooking and will avoid it as much as possible -- ive attempted to make fried chicken with some other veggies while in college and lo and behold the chicken LOOKED cooked but inside it was NOT :shock: -- had to watch my other 2 friends to make sure neither of them got sick for the next 24 hrs and i knew then i would NEVER cook something other than pasta or other easy dishes to put together!!!!!!! i dont mind cuz it has the shortest cooking time and the less work there is in the kitchen too LOLOL :laugh2:

I really hate cooking I can cook some Russian and Ukrainian as well as American but I rather do fast and easy most
 
Glad that some of you can cook!

I, myself, like to cook at home instead of some fancy restaurants.
I cook Pizzas, they are real italian...
Italian dishes at some italian restaurants
Irish foods, and seafoods.
Also many different international foods too.
American foods are easy!
And will be more than glad to cook for a lady in the morning!

When I was younger, I hated to cook, but now I have to cook because I'm a mom and a wife. I cook many different kinds of food, sometimes from scratch and man, I surprise myself often when I eat my own cooking at table with my family. :D

I cook casseroles, any main dish with different kinds of meat (steak, chicken, beef, turkey, fish, etc), and sometimes side dishes (veggie, fruits, salads, etc). Sometimes I just simply microwave food for a quick snack for my family after work. :D

I even baked some really hard-to-follow-instruction desserts, like upsidedown pineapple cake, brownies (from scratch, not from the box), etc.

AHHHHH brownies from scratch!! yummy! i remmy my mom would do that on rare occasions and i :bowdown: to her brownies! same with the homemade chocolate chip cookies! *swoons*

One of my exs loved the way I made hot chocolate drink from stratch... always asked me to make it for him. What I would do is put milk in a bowl and heat in microwave. Then add cocoa powder, salt, vanilla and some sugar. Fantastic!
 
They call me "Mr.Martha". Why?? Because I cook and bake really good. Also, I become a real super-bitch whenever someone walks in my kitchen while I am making something.

Sometimes, I cook my food differently than normal. For instance, I like to cook macaroni & cheese... with a lot of tabasco sauce poured in. Yummy!

Try it yourself. If there is no salt, it tastes like no flavour at all. Salt really helps to make chocolate taste much better. Not a lot but like a pinch of salt.

BTW, ever wonder why chocolate cake recipes and brownies call for salt in their recipes? Exactly the same reason.
