Who better to handle a crisis...Obama or Bush

Bush is not in office anymore, and he ain't coming back, so ... ? What was the point of the poll?

It's about comparing two different crisises with two different presidents.

A full 54% now think Bush did a better job dealing with crisis
than Obama, who gets the vote of only 33%.

I do get that, but if Bush isn't around or coming back, then I guess the only person handling a crisis at the moment is Obama, regardless of what his rating is.
 
compare? if you're going to compare - show me Bush and Obama in 2 same crisis.

It's not about Bush coming back. It's about comparing two different crisises. Which one handled it better. The people voted that it was Bush who handled his crisis far better than Obama did with the oil spill debacle.

Neither of them do handling so better in crisis.
 
I say Bush is better at the immediate action necessary for a crisis, but Obama is better at dealing with the long term effects. But that has to do with their personalities. Bush doesn't think and Obama thinks too much. Can we please find the middle ground.

That'd be irresponsible to delay actions just to suit ones own personality. Personal lives, properties and economic risk are at stake. Nothing worse than to see a leader dilly dallying around in times of an extreme crisis.

yea..... looking at Iraq & Afghanistan War with no long-term strategy... how irresponsible of Bush to proceed ahead without long-term plan.

Personal lives, properties, and economic risk? yep all ruined. I dunno but did Bush expect to dilly dally outta Iraq & Afghanistan after posting "Mission Accomplished" banner? :dunno:
 
Everybody complained about Bush, now everyone's complaining about Obama. Either way, a president can't make the people happy.

I think Bush would have done what any president would have done when our nation was being attacked. War.

Bush didn't create Katrina. And the levee problems were there well before Bush became President. It was local/city joke when it came to the levee system in New Orleans and nearby. And Mayor Nagin's ineptitude in getting the job done in the first place. Remember the hundreds of yellow school buses that sat in deep water that easily could've been used to help evacuate thousands of people in a timely manner.

Ah, yes. The myths continue.

Bush handled Katrina poorly... Michael Brown really????
Obama handled Gulf of Mexico sluggishly...
