8 non-conservatives? Funny... considering conservatives claim moderates and libertarians as part of their group.
No, conservatives claim conservatives, and moderates claim moderates, etc. Otherwise, they would have voted differently in the poll. If someone is conservative, why would they choose moderate or libertarian the poll? That wouldn't make sense.8 non-conservatives? I always considered Moderates as in between, and that is me. Libertarians are to the right of Conservatives. Based on the current results, I would say that the responses show a tilt to the right.8 non-conservatives? Funny... considering conservatives claim moderates and libertarians as part of their group.
Nothing like going to a voting booth with a "which person is less bad" approach.I would say saywhatkid is fed up with it as well.
So far, 5 conservatives, and 8 non-conservatives. Not many people have voted yet.
Good spin! How about we also say one Liberal and 13 non-Liberals?So far, 5 conservatives, and 8 non-conservatives. Not many people have voted yet.

The U.S. already has a mixed economy. The problem is money. We don't have enough for all programs.
To me, US is far more capitalism than being mixed economy.
Of course, recession started has severe drained any of government funding on social programs and there is only risk if government wants continue to funding on social programs without need adjustment in spending so they would have deal with budget deficit. That's funny about Obama believed that stimulus package is working but not really for us because unemployment rate and deficit became worse now.
Recession sucks, anyway.
We have Social Security. We have Medicare. We have Medicaid. We have food stamps. Government subsidies. Mandatory insurance. Mandatory health insurance. That's a lot of socialism right there.
Yes, but capitalism is needed to make government to able to afford on social programs. During weaken economy, the taxes have went down due increased of unemployment rate and more of government spendings are driven into increase of budget deficit. Without capitalism, social programs won't work and government wouldn't able to afford, except if country is in oil rich, especially Venezuela, but government system in this country is failing.
Mandatory health insurance coverage won't be last for long due questionable about constitutional issues, even I don't believe in mandatory auto insurance for drivers, that which is currently required by many states.
I said we have already a mixed economy.
So far the poll results are exactly what I expected/hoped for. Will wait until there is a larger sample to comment in case it doesn't hold though. There are stiil two posters whose answer I am curious to see.

How can one tell as to who voted what? Do I need to click somewhere to reveal who?
