Hi Guys,

Which Best DVD Player Software With CC

few download

VLC is very good but only 5 size

SMPlayer is great more features CC and command any size, any solid to no solid background, color more than VLC

I test GOM, UMPlayer, etc.. lousy

I hear rumor says about subtitle with solid background for 3th party software

Do you know where? I saw KMPlayer had off / on "Subtitle Background", I tired and nothing

any idea?

You can't change the font size in the VLC Player?

Yes you can :

1- press ctrl+p (tools>preferences)
2- enable ADVANCE OPTIONS at the bottom
3- click VIDEO on your left, then Subtitles/OSD
4- click TEXT RENDERER

and there will be option for everything to change the colour, size, opacity etc of subtitles...

VamPyroX and SimonJ

I am sorry, I know about it,

I want look another 3rd party software with CC

only two VLC and SMPlayer, I want MORE!!!
Who know 3rd party software had subtitle on Solid Background

I hear VLC 1.2 had choose bold, underline, fonts, etc.. but not work for DVD subtitle

My biggest problem is finding a TV and DVD player connection that captions all DVDs, regardless of CC options available. No DVD CC, there's always TV CC, that kind of connection. Certain combinations don't work.

Has anyone tried the Toshiba TV with a DVD player built in? I'm thinking about buying one, but want to make sure the CCs work from the DVDs, or there wouldn't be any point to having it.

you need 480i and old cable (not HDMI), they will work CC

if you have computer pc and you want choose 1) VideoLAN, 2) Mplayer or 3) KMPlayer, threy are great! work CC any you want color, size to BIGGEST or SMALLEST, work any 480i/p, 720p, 1080ii

I hear about subtitle with black bakcground soon, VideoLAN, Mplayer, KMplayer work project future

they are freeware, you can download it

don't buy PowerDVD, WinDVD, any shareware, they don't have size, color, etc..

Downloaded MPlayer today,latest version. (I have Mac OS-X 10.6.8)

How does one bring up the CC for this player,if possible? I know previous versions had no
CCs?

Thanks?

I am not sure what you're asking but if you're using Windows, Windows Media Player has built in support for captioning.

No, media player is limit CC. it is lousy font ansd small, no fonts, no size, no Transparency
no color, it is lower-middle on screen but no bottom of screen
