Which animals that you could never own as a pet? and why?...
 
A lion! Heck, they act like kings which makes them really really moody and fierce!! :lol:

Ok ok...animals...hmm...well, there are certain reptiles I wouldn't consider having especially with children around...alligators, snakes...with alligators, I wouldn't take any chances for losing a limb here, snakes...well those slimy things COULD slitter away out of their cages and...well, must you need to know anymore? heh heh....Now, for animals, there are certain bred of dogs I wouldn't consider having even if they are considered harmless, etc...such as with pitbulls...(<<now that has been widely debated here in AD in the past and no need to elaborate any more in this particular thread... ;) ok?!) Also, I feel monkeys wouldn't make a good house pet with the way they are bouncing all over and being such a nusiance at times when they're known to get into things that they shouldn't be in...well, 'cept for 'bills'...that I wouldn't mind! But my good o' paper shredder can do a good job.... :smoking:

Generally, I love all sort of animals and my list of animals I wouldn't like to have or be around is short....
 
Actually, I think any animal could be owned as a pet.

Right now, I'd have to say that I can't have ANY animals as a pet right now because of RIT's policy. The best I could do is a goldfish in a 1-gallon fish bowl. The reason why they permit fishes is because they can't live after escaping.

*rats
*pitbull and Rotweiler
*black spiders ( whatever you call it )
 
I love a lot of animals... But the only animals that would freak me out to have a pet would be a grizzly bear... ekk they can eat you! lol... Also I dont like snakes and spiders either.. echhh!

You must mean Black widows? eek :x

I wouldn't ever own that either..as well as for sharks, and snakes (venomous ones)
 
any animal will do fine with me.. it doesn't matter if its dangerous, or wild.. i'll consider it as a pet in any way :D

Really? they're black widows the ones they sell at the petstore? I didn't know that I thought it was some kind of black spider the huge one with a bit furry on it....eeeeekkkkk!
 
They sell black widow spiders?

But aren't they poisonous?

I have no idea if they're black widow, I thought black widow are dangerous ones...but at the pet store they sell those black spider its huge with little fur on it....do you know what kind of spider that is?

Oh im sure there's several different kind of spiders that's black.. I'm not sure which one the pet stores sell. Black Widows has red spot on them on the back. Yeah, they're dangerous.. I used to see a lot of them while I was growing up.. :ugh:

I believe the spiders at pet stores were tarantulas. I have seen on tv that people let tarantula crawl all over them...but I will NEVER let it crawl on me. :ugh: I really can't stand big spiders. If one gets on me, every hearing person in the room will suddenly become deaf by my very loud scream! :ugh:

I'm wondering do they bite?...I heard that if you scream, that kind of spider would attack is that true?
 
Thank you Teekie for explaining what black spider looks like, I forgot about that red spot on it's back.....I think it would be interesting to learn about spiders...hmmm..should we ask Banjo to create a thread about spiders since hes a bit smarter than I am...LOL.

I dont mind those.. I held one couple times, and my interp would look at me and stand back. lol I asked her if she wanna hold it, she was like :ugh: no thanks! :shudders:

I'm not sure about that, but I do know if you make sudden movements, it'll feel threatened or scared and will attack.

:giggle: I didnt like them and when my teacher asked if I wanted to hold one, I was hesistant at first but went ahead .. wasnt bad.. eh my interp also refused to try holdin a boa constrictor :P
