When I pass away. I do not want to be buried. I want to be cremated.

I rather to be cremated and have a memorial of happy times. I do not want to be remembered lying in a coffin.

Which one do you prefer and why?
 
Cremated. I know my husband wants to be buried, but I hope to be cremated and just stay at home until he dies and then the kids can stick my urn in the coffin with him.

Or they could make my ashes into gems and each wear a part of me. :lol:

They do sell jewelry, that carries ashes of love ones.

Right, but now they also make gems of the ashes. Like making cubic zirconia and then the can be set in a ring or necklace.

Really!!?? Remains from human ashes?? :shock: I would love to become a sparkly gemstone when I pass. :giggle: Awesome way to be remembered!

I voted to be cremated also....and my ashes to be thrown over the Beach at 10th Avenue North, where I lived for 5 years, and was the happiest time of my life. Don't wanna be sitting on somebody's fireplace mantle! Or stuck into a drawer or a dark file cabinet, or even the bathroom. But with my luck, they'll probably stick me in the garage, attic or cellar!
 
Burial for me in a field with flowers.
 
I vote cremated...


I dont want my family to spend a lot of money on coffins and burial so instead I want them to use the money to enjoy themselves. Also, I dont want to use up Earth space. I have always wondered if there will ever come a day when the Earth runs out of space for burial.

We'll probably be buried on "top of each other"....lots of "hanky panky" going on in the after-life!

cremated... for one good reason...,

Even if in thousands of years from now, I do NOT even want somebody find me, and molesting my body! They can't do that when I'm in ashes.

Same reason as DHB don't like the idea people find my body! EKK!

I would like my ash pour out either at Lake Tahoe or OBX.

Cremated for the same reason as you.
 
I dunno..... for years I wanted to be buried into ground because I fear of getting burned.... silly I know.... but for some reason, I'm afraid that somehow I would wake up and being burned..... that I'm truly not dead. But then my parents explained it to me that they'll drain the blood first so therefore I would be really dead before being cremated. but now more as I thought of it.... I want to be cremated and be placed into tomb on the wall next to my loved ones and have my name on the plaque because I want to be remembered for years to come... and have people wonder who I am when they glance on my name for centuries to come. I know that sounds weird.... but I guess I fear of being forgotten.
 
i voted cremated and put me into long island ocean over there all over into the ocean. people needs land therefore they can enjoy their lands than can't use the land because of the bodies in there. so the lands are running out of room in the future.
