Let's say you recently added a friend on Facebook. This person goes looking at your pictures and posts. They decided to comment on a post you made last year.

For me, I would generally comment on your posts from the day I added you as a friend. I don't think I'll comment on posts you posted before we became friends on Facebook.

What do you think??

I see where you are coming from.

Well since the friend was recently added and sees your older photos, I don't see anything wrong with it because he just found those photos as if it were new to him and would like to comment on it. They would like to be part of your Facebook by commenting.

Well if you met a friend you haven't seen in a while and pulled out your wallet to show photos you put in there, should they not say how cute the babies were because they weren't around then? That how I look at it

i want to know how to delete something i put on public bit i meant send private one, this awful people seeing what i just posted

There should be a pencil icon next to your comment or a down arrow to edit/delete it. Just hover the mouse over to the right of your comment and it'll show up. I've had that happen to me once. Anything you post is removable.

I know the feeling. As long as you go back soon after, it should be fine. Less chance of anyone seeing it.

 you're important enough for them to acknowledge your photos n history, for some people it's their way of letting you know you're cool for their time. If you don't like it, make it clear everytime you are going to friend someone ADD a huge disclaimer of dos and donts before adding them as friend

does it matter?

i still trying get guts up to go back on it....i rarely use it and i do such stupid thing when i do...if want see pics of grandchild i have go on it...i wish people use photo albums lot to be said for old ways

I guess I'm thinking why still have the pics or posts up if there's going to be sensitivity about a comment on it much later? I have found new family and friends on my FB and they've been commenting on my older posts and pics, and I like they are taking the time to see what I've been up to. If I was concerned I would not add them in the first place.

Are you afraid they would pull out a horrid photo from the facebook graveyard of yours?
