When I played it was on PS3 or PS2... can't remember which at the time but anyways I guess its online now! I didn't know that!
 
I don't really have a FAVORITE game as they differ by console/system.

I wouldn't really know as I usually play by myself and not 1-on-1 games. If they were to bring back Killer Instinct for the arcade, I'd say it was that game. :)

I remember my friend's little brother trying to play it on a PC with onboard graphics only. He had to play in a tiny window and I could barely tell what was happening, I think he was stumbling around a cave trying to kill wolfmen or gnolls or something.
 
I don't play video games much anymore, but I've had NES, SNES, N64, Wii, and PS2. For some reason, I tend to go for Mario games.

Kingdom Hearts 1+2, Mario Galaxy 1+2, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
2. Favorite Character?
Sora from Kingdom Hearts and Yoshi. :)
3. Favorite Genre?
Role playing action games with a fantasy/sci fi theme.
4. Favorite Platform? (discussed above)
SNES was probably my favorite at its time. Probably because I used to go to blockbuster every week with a different game for SNES. Now, it's Wii, just because it's what I have that is most current.
5. Currently Playing?
Wii and PS2 sometimes.
6. Wish I was Playing?
Any new game that I'd get into. Whenever I get a new adventure-type of game that I like, I MUST finish it and get 100% of everything.
7. You can't beat me at?
Super Mario Bros and Super Mario 3 on NES, I was pretty good at that stuff.
8. First game I've Played?
Super Mario Bros.
9. First console I've Played?
NES.
10. Why I love Gaming?
I just do. :) It's fun for me and I get so immersed in it.
 
I really like Mario type games, and the Lego series (Lego Harry Potter, LOTR, etc.). Have a Wii, PS2, and a Nintendo 3DS. Also got a bunch of games on my iPad and play a few hidden object type games on my laptop, and games on facebook as well. I'm always playing games on something. I grew up playing the NES system, lots of Mario and duck hunt games hehe.
 
Whoever owns all these is clearly a hardcore gamer

Wow... that's crazy!

I have a friend who is also a hardcore gamer and collector. He has thousands of games in his collection as well as game systems.

He has over 5,000 games. :shock:

This is true. However, it's not a level playing field, the guys who pay get better weapons, etc.

Perhaps the days are gone when skill alone defines you as a player.

Let's see if I can name them all...

Top row (from left): Nintendo Famicom with Disk Drive, Sega Master System, Atari 2600 (VCS), PC Engine with CD Drive (and looks like SuperSystem card inserted), NES, NES 2 (they reissued it when the SNES came out in a new design)

Second row: Super Famicom/Euro SNES (can't tell from here), Sega Genesis/MegaDrive, NeoGeo, what I think is a JVC X'Eye (hybrid Genesis/Sega CD, my clue is it has what appears to be an IR controller receiver plugged into the front), TurboGrafX-16, SNES (North America, with an IR controller receiver)

Third row: Sega Genesis 2, Sega Saturn (in rare Japanese white casing!), 3DO REAL II, FM Towns Marty (I think), PSX, Jaguar

Bottom row: Dreamcast, NeoGeo CD system, Xbox (in crystal case, I've got one too), PS2 (with the pointless horizontal 'stand'), N64 (think it's in a translucent case like mine is, because I can see the red of the RAM expansion cartridge), a red Gamecube?


EDIT: It's not an FM Towns Marty, it's the second version of the Philips CD-I.

Gamecube Gundam Red with Principality of Zeon symbol. I think it's part of Gundam Bundle only to Japan.

EDIT: It's custom-painted Gamecube. Note its controller panel isn't black and the symbol isn't matched to the Zeon symbol.
 
I used to focus on special edition consoles like that before they started making them too expensive.

I'm not really a gamer kind of guy but I do play games once in a while.
