If I had the money, my dream location would be San Juan Islands in Washington state, a nice house in Hawaii or even in California. Those are my three choices.

Edited: If it's outside the United States, I would pick someplace with tropical weather and nice seabreezes from the ocean. I only have been to Baja California and Canada.

Seriously, places that has a lot of trails for riding bike would be fine with me. I don't need anything fancy. I went to Grand Haven, MI and Pentwater, MI few times with ex girlfriend. Those would be great along with Saugatuck, MI.

Saugatuck, MI is very, very dog friendly. You won't know unless you experience it.

Places that are dog friendly rates high on my list.
 
dog freindly yes, thats important for me too, i have 2 crazy dogs lol,,,

supercharged v8 for me lol...

like idea of Penthouse in NYC, in fact in there 80% of people in manhatten are living alone...so it must be a really interesting social, all very independent...assertive people (i hope)...

a nice beach house in Tauranga, New Zealand is my dream home location.
 
I would love to have the money to vacation wherever and whenever - my current favorite places being Hawaii and Vancouver Island. However, I wouldn't want to live fulltime anywhere but where I do now. For me, it has the best of everything including family and friends.
 
I'm thinking Hawaii, the island of Maui...a beautiful beach-front home with lots of glass for the ocean view from every room....tropical drinks....lots of fruit....Polynesian dancers and buffets....Living in a bathing suit or summer clothes year round!...Guessing California dreaming would be cheaper tho'....
 
If USA? I would pick somewhere remote in Alaska. Worldwide.. That would be tough, but a place with more wildlife than people
 
Anywhere as long as the place is pets friendly, has nature-related activities in the area or nearby, with supportive and active deaf-friendly communities.

I may prefer warmer weather, but I may be flexible--the most important thing is community characteristics--people friendly and open mind to each other and to the furry/feather friends :)

I am still trying to determine where that will be because I wanted to relocate there in the near future.

I know it won't happen but you said whats my dream location, and it would be darn nice if it becomes reality.

San Francisco! It's very dog friendly city but too bad it's $$$ to live there.
 
Whistler mtn area of BC. 100 miles within that. I still have dreams about it.
 
I haven't actually visited any of the places that I think would be my dream location, but it would someplace like Aruba, somewhere in the Caribean with great cnorkeling. I really really dig snorkeling. But after seeing this pic posted on facebook today, my friend is going to New Zealand. It just may be New Zealand. How gorgeous is that?

I did live in Washington State from 1986-1989. Very nice place, great climate, on the coastal side of the mountains. It's got that maritime climate, only place in the US with it, so it never gets really really hot really really cold. It's very green, just beautiful. It also doesn't pour down rain constantly like you see on the tc or in movies. A lot of time you go outside and it's jst misty, whcih mst be hell on hearing aids!!! Anyway it's got Mt Rainer so you get the mountains, the beach isn't sandy or anything you want to swim in but it's nice. Drive a little north and you have wonder forests with huge Redwoods, drive a little south and you can see the rainforrests, and if you hike mt something or other Olympia I don't know google it, there are hot springs, heated by the volcano. The further up you go the hot the springs get, stinkier too though from the sulfur. But it really is awesome. Me? I'm a beach girl so I like Myrtle Beach just fine. The waves are bigger in the Pacific, but the Atlantic is warmer, during the summer I can boogie board alllllll day and not get cold. LOVE it!!!

Edited to add: good gravy I'm reading this this morning and lawdy you can tell I had a mighty tasty beverage last night. I'm not fixing any of that I'm leaving it up there as a remnder to myself what happens when you post while drinking.

I love the place! I lived in Seattle for 10 years from 2000 to 2010. That's why one of the dream spot to live is in San Juan Islands in Washington state. :) Doesn't rain that much there and it's almost to the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains and it's true temperate climate there as well. Many parts of western WA state (mostly on the Western slopes of the Olympic mountains).

washington state, isn't that the one on the West coast (Pacific ocean side), near Canada, and not far fro Seattle?

yeah i like that description, NZ is about like that too, we have a bit of everything, but its colder, well milder i suppose would be the right world. In South Island (Where Christchurch got struck by some massive earthquake, wrecking half the city because of liquidated sand under the surface!)...well further down south in Central Otago, it get really hot in summer and really cold in winter...more extremes which seems to be similar to what you're describing, Central Otago is further away from the shores though, more inland.

Yep, right below Cnanda, Seatle is a city in Washington. There's a mountain range that runs down the middle of the state when the wind/weather gets to those mountains it changes the climate, so on the coastal side of the mountains is maritime and on the other side it's just regular like the rest of the US weather hahaha.
 
Of all the places I have been... Probably Northern California. Can't judge the places I haven't.

Some place where I could have a lot of dogs and cats for pet and maybe a few ducks and chickens. And where there are no condo rules to follow.
 
In the US, my dream place would be wherever Tim Tebow lives : )

Outside US, I like Sitges in Spain. It's a very gay friendly resort town like Provincetown, and I'd be able to get my Spanish back up to snuff and expand my meager Catalan.
