I had Taco bell for dinner.

My husband off work today, so more festive than healthy. French dip sandwiches and DiGiorno garlic bread Supreme pizza.

I did drink an orange juice though.

WhiteTiger I want some of your salmon salad sandwich....

it same with tuna salad sandwich but all I did is kick out mayo and put in mustard/honey mix and switch from tuna to salmon.

ok tonight I think I will have egg white omelette w/salad and oranges

that sound good.

Recent supper I had subway sandwich with my own cottage cheese with orange/pineapple juice and water.

Tonights dinner will be a hamburger throw-together with italian seasonings. That is, if we get the refrigerator working. At least I have my deep freeze, but all the stuff from the fridge is in 2 coolers with ice. Should be back to normal tomorrow.

Dinner plans changed!! MIL is buying pizza from Papa John's since we are currently living out of coolers.

I picked up some tamales for dinner. I love tamales!

French dip sandwiches and baked sweet potatoes with butter , cinnamon, and sugar.

Grilled chicken, artichoke, tomato and basil pesto on farfalle pasta, tossed salad and tea. The pasta dish only had 4 tablespoons of pesto for 2 people. I had leftovers too. Enough for lunch I hope.

I lost one pound already, grrr. I had hoped to lose one pound per week. I know, keep trying.

I could come to Texas and chase you across the cactus fields brandishing my cane?

 that spaghetti place looks real good, Mrs Bucket!

I had sauteed veggies, tofu w/lots of stuff in it, over greens

LOL@Bott. When I saw your new avatar, I was hoping that you wouldn't get me with your cane. *ducks* :laugh2:

Info on tamales for the uninitiated:

Tamales

My grandma used to make tamales. She learned from Mexican women in her neighborhood. Making tamales is very time consuming, so I haven't learned to make them. Here's the day long process:

Make the Tamales

Tamales are a staple in Texas and you can find them in all grocery stores. I like beef, pork bean, and spinach tamales. I usually serve tamales with refried beans and chips with queso (cheese with hot peppers). Tamales are traditional for Christmas Eve.

Each geographic area has its own variety of tamales. The tamales in Texas are "Tex-Mex." You will become instantly popular if you can make tamales. If you can make tamales, I want to be your friend!

I can't take the time to make, therefore I will have to *gasp* but some frozen ones. Any brand better than the other?
