Well, it works well for other countries (Arabic middle east), they are too damn scared to get stoned to death for that.
That's probably something to do with the fact that they would chop anyone's hands off for stealing a loaf of bread.

Um, abortions aren't illegal. So kind of moot to argue about this one.
I think they should opt out of government-recognized marriages entirely. They seem to cause more financial burden on couples and families than benefit. Child support laws should never go away... but really... families have changed since the marriage laws were made.
I think marriage is great if it works... but why does it have to be financially bonding and government recognized?
Haven't you heard? South Dakota and Missouri State bans it.
I feel you on this one, BUT there are so many things tied to the legality of marriage, i.e taxes and whole bunch of things govt deems necessary to link marriage with. It's whatever.

Well, you know, common-law couples are given the same rights as well in a lot of places.
Don't look like it's going to happen in South Dakota according to this article.

So... abortions still aren't illegal.
Yeah, but you know how the looney pro-lifers are still stubborn trying to fight their win. *lips zipped*
Right. Plus you need to be "officially recognized" in order to be compensated for the death of a spouse. Plus many fool women need the darn respectability of a ring and a marriage license.
