What's The Most Dangerous State In The U.S.?

I guess the city of LA has calmed down a bit since the riots

Indeed, LA had worst crime data in 80s and 90s, but not anymore.

Compton, Oakland, Stockton and Richmond are dangerous cities that push CA to higher.

I wonder what a city by city comparison would look like. I do know, that at one time, DC was considered the murder capital of the world.

Delaware? That one really surprises me. I wonder if crime is correlated to population or something...

Better not tell my mother-- my brother lives in Delaware...

I have two deaf friends who live there. One works for the Delaware School for the Deaf, so given that view, I'm sure they're being careful and all that.

better ask your brother about it

Oddly enough Alaska and New Mexico have a lower population than some of those other states. It makes me wonder if that is considered. Some areas it takes lots of small towns to make that 100,000.

Considering a state as a whole, not just major metro areas, this would only tell me that isolated incidents are on the rise. Rural areas getting crazy?

they're calculating and compiling data from cities of more than 25,000 people.
