I was supposed to go to college and do 2 hours of AON(application of number) which is basically maths but I am not going in just for two hours because I absolutely hate the subject and struggle with it, so I may do my essay that is due on the 25th, tidy my room, chill out and spend time with my mum, and answer some thread here on all deaf.com

Since I just got sent home early from work due to me hurting my back, I'm gonna relax and take it easy for the rest of the day :D

I went to work this morning but then drove back home due to terrible head ache :( Went to bed and fell asleep right away (no wonder with the meds I took!) :giggle:

Now I am already doing better... :)

What a fun day! lol

Blah.. been cleaning out some sections of the house.. as I am moving as well... and washing things and getting them put away and etc.. ehhhhh.... waiting for more appointments for apartment hunting with one of my brothers... have to see... I might as well watch my hockey games taped from last night... ack...

Its a gorgous day after my appointment will visit my Lucky dog and spend the rest of the day with him:P

Eh... been there, done that ;) If you don't have much to do, just lazy around... the next day will be better! :) Maybe you can cheer yourself up with something. All I need is a cup of hot chocolate and my day's saved (kinda...)

I finally got movin' around. It's just that I am under a lot of stress at the moment due to the impending move into our new house as well as trying to complete a project for in work in order for it to be ready for Valentine's weekend.

I just feel like I am a chicken running around in a barnyard without its head!

My list to get completed was to clean up the fallen tree branches out of my back area, change out door knobs on front door and weather seal it, move furniture around my room, clean my room get the boys to clean their rooms, clean the bathroom, get caught up on scout stuff, and go around my complex cleaning up logs before the city comes and hauls them off. I got furniture moved..that's it..There's always tomorrow..oh wait I have court tomorrow so I'll probably come home and sleep the rest of the day till Chris' therapy

AON sounds really boring. 2 hours is too fucking long for me! LOL! I hate math! LOL. What's your major? Is the essay for AON? Or is it for something else?

I didn't do anything most of the day because I was in a lot of pain today. I was supposed to go to the doctor today but I had to reschedule because I woke up in a LOT of pain and could not move very much and had to call and reschedule it for another day. I was in a lot of pain most of the day but I finally feel better now. I'm still a bit loopy from all the pain meds and a muscle relaxer and a nerve pain med I had to take today. I have hip dysplasia in my left hip and arthritis in both hips and two injured discs in my lower back and I have peripheral neuropathy and something is going on with my nervous system besides peripheral neuropathy because I am feeling nerve pain in other parts of my body besides my feet and lower legs. I woke up extremely sore and in a lot of pain and it was so difficult to move, I had to force myself to get out of bed and get on the chair so I could call the doctor's office via IP-RELAY on the computer so I could reschedule, otherwise I would be charged a $25 fee for missing an appointment without rescheduling. They also charge $25 if you don't call 24 hrs in advance, but the receptionist on the phone was nice and waived the $25 fee. I am still not feeling 100% even though I am not in so much pain right now like I was earlier. I feel tired and kind of sore right now. I watched TV and movies most of the day. I was supposed to see my new neurologist last Monday, but he was an asshole and refused to provide an interpreter. I called last week, I think Tuesday January 27th to request an interpreter for the appointment. They refused, so I reported them to my fiance's boss (she owns an interpreting agency and also does ADA law consulting) and she called the doctor's office and educated them and sorted everything out, or so we thought. We thought everything was fine after that. Then on Thursday or Friday, the doctor's office called me on my VP and told me that they will NOT provide an interpreter, and that they have cancelled my appointment (WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! :mad2:) and they had a really rude and an "I don't care about you" attitude (judging by the VP interpreter's body language (the VP interpreters use body language according to the sound of the hearing person's voice and words and the way they talked). The VP interpreter had a face that looked like "I don't give a fuck, I cancelled your appointment, and we are not going to provide an interpreter for you"...that was her expression on her face when they said that they would NOT provide an interpreter and that they cancelled my appointment. I was shocked. I told them that what they did VIOLATED the ADA LAWS and that they are REQUIRED to provide an interpreter to deaf patients no matter what and that I would report them again. I even told them that they would NOT have to pay for an interpreter since I have Medicaid, and Medicaid pays for the ENTIRE COST of the interpreters and their time and their services. They again said the same thing and was totally rude, and did not seem to care. I could not believe it. I was so mad. :mad2: Why is it that I cannot seem to get a damn doctor to provide an interpreter here in Texas? I never had this in Minnesota or in Wisconsin. In fact, in Minnesota, they fall all over themselves to provide an interpreter for deaf patients, they totally insist on it, they always that they MUST follow the ADA laws and that they are required to provide an interpreter to deaf patients. But here in Texas? I have a hard time getting most doctors to provide an interpreter. I even try to meet them halfway, to help them locate an interpreting agency, I even give them the phone numbers of THREE different interpreting agencies here in San Antonio, and I tell them that Medicaid pays for interpreters and that they would not have to pay one damn red cent. They still give me a hard time anyway. *sighs* so now I do not have a neurologist, and I do not know what I am going to do. I really do not understand why doctors are so non-compliant when it comes to ADA laws regarding ASL interpreters. They don't have to pay one damn red cent, so why is it so hard for them to provide an interpreter for me? :mad2: Sorry for going off-topic and writing a novel. I'll shut up now.

Just curious, why are you cleaning up the logs and the fallen tree branches if you live in an apartment complex...isn't that the apartment management office's responsibility? Or do you have a fireplace and want the logs for it? I had a fireplace in my last apartment upstairs, but I moved downstairs in October due to my hip dysplasia and constantly falling down the stairs. I feared that one day I would have a very nasty fall and hit my head on the stairs and split my skull open and risk serious brain damage. Thankfully, the apartment manager allowed me to move downstairs to a first floor apartment at no extra cost, but now I do not have a fireplace anymore. But that's fine with me, since I never used it in my old apartment anyway. I have a real nice set of glass shelves, drawers, and cabinets instead so now I have a place to put all my cute cat statues and knickknacks and picture frames and candles and stuff. I do have my own bookcase but it is for all my books. :)

Ma major is childcare really but the college wants us to have a equivalent of C at GCSE so doing AON level 2 helps us get it if we pass the exam

Nothing special, just sit front of the computer until 4.30 pm then go straight to fitness studio then home for evening supper with family.
