Folks:
I'd missed my early flight and ended up on an evening flight, arriving at 9:15. The last Light Rail train left BWI at 9:09pm (Sunday schedule). (See what happens when I leave?) I managed to flag down a mass transit bus and, in the middle of the 3-lane "pick-up" road, boarded it at 10:10. I'm so glad to be home! I'm exhausted, enjoying a nice glass of wine, and winding down!
The family reunion was a success! I'd had a wonderful time. Some family members I hadn't seen in 18 years while I would find that St. Louis is a city that has changed. I'll be telling ya'll more later (in person - if ya'll count amongst me)! A personal notice must be made for the spectacular effort started and maintained by my brother, John (J as some would know him as). The reunion was my father's birthday request and my brother managed to not only deliver but, also, to make it successful. My father said he would never forget it. I don't think any of us will ever forget this past weekend.
Silly Cubbies, baseball belongs to the Cardinals!
