really? you can duplicate car keys?? Sounds like your hubby drives an old car from 1990's or earlier. You can't duplicate modern car keys because it has chips embedded inside that makes your car works - an anti-counterfeit security measure.

yea can do that.. nope my hubby car is 2002 yr.. before i had car 2002 and did copy key last yr BUT walmart n other cant copy but only at key shop can do that.. cost 3.95 not bad..

lol u dont wanna born on christmas day? birthday and plus more gifts for christmas extra presents :giggle: just kidding

It is better not to be born on Christmas or close to it. I was born close to Christmas and some of my friends would give me one gift for both Christmas AND birthday. I don't like that at all.

Very unfair! That goes the same with my mother as her birthday is a few days after Christmas and gets "short-changed" with only one combined pressie from other rellies, but not from us (her immediate family) ... she receives two gifts independently.

Doesn't anyone realize that birthdays and Christmas are two completely different occasions? So therefore, I'm sure that two different gifts would be happily received, provided they're wrapped in separate wrapping papers.

People celebrate birthdays during the year as well as Christmas, so why can't 'December' individuals, too?

Im in a realllllly good mood! I got the go ahead from the plant manager to move to sanitation which in turn frees me up to go to uni during the day!

The reason why is because I have not had an episode for the last two weeks and he feels that I am probably healthy enough to make the switch 'as long as I take care of myself.'

The way I he told me was I had just started my shift and he walked up to the line where I was tapped me on the shoulder and said - 'Ive notified the sanitation supervisor that you'll be coming in Monday night.' I shrieked and gave him a bear hug and thanked him. It had really gotten down to the point that I had no idea if I were going to be able to actually follow through with my plans to return to Uni or not. But with that I knew it had worked out in the end. For the rest of the day I wore a smile on my face that a bomb couldnt wipe off.

Its not a major event, but when you spend your time losing, you learn to celebrate even the smallest of victories.

So Monday I get to take my DD to school and then I will go to Russellville and start the admissions and enrollment process.

For this semester I plan on taking a light load academically and timewise so I can see how well my body is able to handle the sleep deprivation. I probably will not go for more than 3 days per week.

The courses I intend to enroll in are Algebra, composition, health & wellness (a requirement but an easy A) and possibly another elective. The reason is because Composition comes easily to me, H&W is an easy A, and I struggle with Algebra so I can spend the semester focusing on passing that course so I can enjoy the rest of my collegiate years. If the schedule is no more than that then perhaps I'll be in Uni only 2 days a week. But I'll have see what I can fit in and where and this late in the summer, classes are filling up fast.

Dixie, now that's some good start! :thumb:

Yes, I am thrilled. The bad part now is my sleep schedule is absolutely reversed starting Monday night. I will be going to work about the time I usually go to sleep, and coming home about the time I usually wake up. I have a feeling that black jacks are going to be my best friend until I can get my sleep schedule resorted out.

You'll be fine, you will adjust the sleeping pattern, just fine.

I guess you could now say I'm on the Aussie Time Schedule!

I am sick and tired of my parents internet, they are damn slow, despite it is broadband!

And yes, aussie time zone, indeed!

oh poor thing - at least you are not hooked up via 56K dial-up connection. With that it would take 10 minutes just for AD.com to load and forget youtube, myspace, and all that other social networking stuff. 56K is S-L-O-W.

I am on DSL and one of my coworkers is still on 56K dial-up. She was shocked at how fast my internet is.

I do remember the old days when we had dial up internet, it was really really, slow, and it was annoying -- we had to use a password to log in every time you dial... broadband doesn't need one at all. My interent at home is faster than my parents does, mine runs on 5300 download kps and 890kps upload.. if you want to know how fast your internet speed is you can go to Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test

I wonder if anyone is still on the 14.4K dial-up like the original connection that was widely used by the general public for like 2-3 years before 56K showed up on the market.

They're extinct, execpt, if Freaky Cat is still on dial up in some sort of similaity then I apologise

but of course those results are from the laptop via wireless connection so I expect it to be slower than a direct connection.

Not unless someone else is using the internet at the same time, yes.

Never mind - the interent down here is a screw up ass internet, will post the actual one when I am at home.
