Hey guys, Have a wonderful wkd and a week! I will not check this for a week. Because my friend will visit and stay with us for a week. He is from Portugal. I haven't seen him more than in 4 yrs! We will have alot of catch up news! !

Well Im alive and kicking as well and we got the same windstorm that FC did. We had gusts up to 50 mph and sometimes higher. Our electricity has been going off and on at inconvienient times since so if I blip off suddenly it is due to that.

The main damage around here are some missing shingles off buildings, power lines down (and power outtages) some vehicles were damaged and a friend of mines carport was blown over into his front yard and now looks like a giant slide from the roof of the house down to the ground, lol. I too heard about the two deaths FC - totally uncanny how they went, and completely unexpected thats for sure!

And yes we got snow here, but my camera battery was dead so I never got any pics. If I had I would have had a shot of three deer standing in the snow gazing at the house. That would have been one of those WOW shots.

And today I got my loan bill in - OMG I like only ONE MORE PAYMENT then I am DONE FINISHED FINALMENTE! ZAP NADA!!! And I believe I may have some 500 hundred or so to spare which I will save to pay the taxes on a possible new truck in the VERY near future - as in perhaps within a month or two! DAMN Im so excited just thinking about it! LOL.
 
Good luck Dixie! :) Wish we can pay off my hubby's student loan...they are pain in ass! LOL! Maybe few years it'll be all paid off...*sigh*

We had sleet today...what a mess out there! Oh well! I am staying in for rest of the night...rented 2 movies from Red Box...so that'll keep us stay in and enjoy the movies. :)
 
i went n do errands ofc pay bills.. lol.. so going out dinner tonight
 
Congratulations to Dixie on your final payment -- I'm sure you will be jumping up and down once it is completed. Be proud of that, and look forward to see some awesome pics of your new truck, IF you get it! ;)

Just got home after a wonderful lunch with a lady friend of mine ;)

yup it done fix.. whew.. cost me $9.50 not bad.. hehehe.. i went walmart, for eyebrow wax and lil shopping valentine for my hubby! :naughty:
 
Well Ive done some browsing over the internet of the local dealerships that have a used car lot such as Valley Motors and Cogswell Motors, and Nebo Autos. They are not just used auto dealers they sell new as well, so I feel relatively safe purchasing a used auto from one of them.

I was looking at one vehicle that looked supernice but the tag was 32,000, I was EEEK! no thanks, clicked out, lol. It was a Chevy 1500 HD package I waa just curious, lol.

But I did find a couple of possibilities from Cogswell and Nebo, and a maybe at Valley motors, so I have bookmarked those for now to keep an eye out for, then when I make the final payment official I will probably have mom and dad come with me to take those out for a test drive possibly next week or the week after to see if its really what I want after driving it in various conditions (interstate, city, highway, country road, etc.) Then when I get my downpayment money together I will start the serious negotiations with the dealers and hopefully one day drive home a nice truck that Im in love with... haha.

OH yeah - ya'll need to check out my 2 doe and a fawn thread - I have pics!

Today its wet and humid here due to raining earlier. Nothing is happening ... sigh.. Make me wanna get out of here but today is one of my bad days due to vertigo and dizziness so it is out of questions.. grrr.. :( this friggin sucks! ha..
 
aww man FC Im sorry your having a crappy day with the vertigo - when I take my migraine medicine I stop hurting but dang I feel like a bobble head for 2 or 3 hours afterward, lol.

We are having a superbowl party here with the family and I have my niece and nephew here which is a joy for me in addition to having Maddie. Technically they aren't my niece and nephew they are actually my cousin's-by-marriage two kids but for simplicity we are considering them cousins instead of 2nd cousins by marriage, lol.

I cant wait until the Bob's House commercial airs - thats going to be funny, :D

I have the site up and running -- will be checking the scoreboard constantly, but please someone let me know when the game has just started! I don't know what time it is over there as it is 9:27am here!
 
I'm going back and forth doing laundry, trying to get all the clothes done and cleaned. :fingersx:

I wondered where Maria is?? I missed her in the Religion forum.
