I have to go to my collegues office to do some work. I will be back in a while. TTYL ladies.
Are you the one that sends the frozen-packaged chickens to our store with a sticker that says, "Grown in Arkansas?"
nope - thats not our job - we debone it, weigh it, and then return to Tyson for further processing.
I mostly QC breast meat for bones, skin, excess fat, etc. I basically make sure that the only thing going into the 75 lb lug is only breastmeat.
Tyson does the final processing, seasoning, cooking, and final consumer packaging.
BTW - depending on what your packaging says I can tell you which plant deboned and processed it.
If it is Purdue, Pilgrim's Pride, or Dutch Quality House - it likely came from Wayne Farms.
If it is Tyson theres an offhand chance it went through Petit Jean Poultry either our plant or Arkadelphia.
Wow.....talk about the chicken going across the country!
I'm out for the night folks- see ya!
arrgh! stupid things never STOP. my friend who has been watching my cats at his apartment broke his front door (short-temper problem) and been saying he'll buy new one for two weeks and now three of my cats are missing!

earlier today.. and it's 4AM, still not sleeping --
those are three that went missing today... I am very worried ..
my babies .. I beg you all to come back.
