Yeah I agreed it is dumb. It need different title.

:slap: to publisher. What about textbook for deaf person? "ASL FOR DEAF PERSON" book is different from "ASL FOR HEARING PERSON"?

sounds like a ground for discrimination! i think

Well I can't blame the publisher, need more better title. Maybe the discrimination. I am not sure about. It was explaining history about deaf culture.

Oh lord, I feel special now.....

I would take more but due to scheduling conflicts thats all I can take this semester, dammit.

My tuition cost little more than yours. $972.92 be exact plus $125 for books. I am excited to be in college. I am freshmen in college, Yay!

Haven't got my books yet - but I just registered like 15 minutes ago. My advisor was gracious enough to email me the registration code because she is going on a sabbatical.

When I pick up my syllabus for my classes, I will know and will purchase accordingly. Technically you're not expected to have your books on the first day of classes.

Well, i am miss perfect about that, want to bring books to class on daily basis. And Perfect attendence.

Most profs won't assign homework or reading on the first day, its more of a 'here's the syllabus, here's how I plan to instruct you, this is your one and only warning.'

But by the second day your gauranteed to have your first assignments. I expect that I will have my first paper to write before the end of the month. I will need to contact the disabilities office to see about having a CART or real-time captions for my algebra class as I will be on campus for that course in the evenings, and quite possibly a tutor for algebra as well.

My other course is an online composition course. Im going to be busy 3-4 nights a week. Whew! But I am looking forward to it.

Not here. We have homework on daily basis even on first day!

Tomorrow I need to make a stop at wally-world for a calculator and them thangs ain't cheap!

Yes, next week my DD returns to her FINAL year of pre-school, and I return to university for the first time in 5 years next Thursday. And Maddie's Awana Clubs starts its 9-month session Wednesday. Wow, I am going to have a busy week next week.

I just got home from work and I have to go work at 10 pm for overnight shift until 9 am tomorrow morning. I also have to work at 3:30 pm to 11 pm on Saturday with the same client. It's gonna be good moolah, but gotta be pretty much boring, ha. On Sunday, I will go with my friend to Lacey, WA to check out this store called Cabela's. They just opened the store not long ago. My friend said it's really nice store which he visited in Michigan few years ago. The site at Cabela's Lacey, Washington Store - Hunting, Fishing & Camping Supplies

If you see Team Waterdog up there, tell Mr. Justin Tackett, Miss Dixie says Hi. He'll know who.

You'll like it. It will be a different experience. The best way I can put it is that it is like going to a state parks museum where you see mounts of wildlife all over as well as information about them. But here instead of a cheap gift shop, you get to buy stuff you can really use like uhm shotguns, and ridiculously expensive outdoor gear.
