Whatever you feel like......... Anything goes! Part IV

At my old job I did everything from trimming breasts, to throwing combos over, washing slats, building combo bins, de-icing chicken pieces, pack out, calibrating scales, loading the box machine, running labels off for shipping, loading the lines, evis floor clean up, evisceration of the guts, production de-bone floor clean up, and replacement for anyone on vacation. I also helped Q.A. and HACCP with their stuff when they needed it. I literally was the jack of all trades down there and I enjoyed the non-routine part of my job. I was working off-line and I had freedom to run around a bit and not stay in one spot waiting for time to pass by. I had the option that if I needed a bathroom break I could take a bathroom break because no one was needed to take my place for 5 minutes. I could take my breaks pretty much any time I felt like it as long as I did not take more than 60 minutes in one day. I usually took a 25 minute morning break and a 35 minute afternoon break. People were jealous. Stupid me got cocky and arrogant and I started having too much of an attitude. I got mad one day and just walked out. That was probably the stupidest career mistake I made. If I had stayed I probably could have been in a trainer position by now training new people for various on-line and off-line job positions. One step away from a line foreman position. Every day that I am at PJP I kick myself in the ass for leaving Wayne Farms.

Aww ..dont beat yourself over it. We all make stupid mistakes. I am sure u will find the job that will fit u since u seem so determined. :)

Right now I plan on keeping my crap-ola PJP job until something better comes through. This week I am going to take an early out for work and head over to the temp-to-hire agency and get the ball rolling for getting back on at WF Then when I get an opportunity for another early out then I am going back to Booneville and get my rump hired on at the meatpacking plant. I absolutely hate my PJP job. You know its bad when youve only been there a week and you already start looking for a new job. They are the type of company that if you dont like it, your'e out the door. No matter which route I take I need to put in at least six months so that I *might* get the opportunity to work for ConAgra foods and find a way to go to school part-time during the day. I know it looks like I am job-jumpy but I dont know how long I can put up with PJP.

im at my moms... i got big surprises for TJ.. 1 new puppy and one new dog...both are chihuahua... one is arond 10 weeks old name Hercules (male).. and other one is 4 yrs old name Sock (female).. sooo adorable...will take pics of them and post them.. :)

Have a good day ADers! Behave! :giggle: or I'll :whip:  (Just kidding)

Now I have allergies. :( My eyes itch! UGH! Weird because my nose should be runny but nope..only my darn eyes! I'll contact my doctor to get me RX for allergy or other suggestion.

So I better go and watch the puppies for few minutes till my boy get on the bus to go school, and I go babysit. See ya lata!

Today I got rotate positions at work WOOHOO!! I could not believe it. But it was one of those things were you were glad you were getting rotated but once you got rotated the job you did wasnt much better than the one you started out with. But oh well at least I am not as beat up as the other job made me, probably because I got to move around a little more and I didnt get quite as stiff. Standing still hurts me, I would 10 times rather be moving around alot than standing still.

finally i got online with alldeaf.. i been busy and take care of my mom whew.. but will take care of her this week more.. so i need errands before wedding coming..

Today was back to the old job of throwing breasts over to the belt. (men dont get any wrong ideas!)

But I am not as sore as I have been. I think that first week or two are the worst when you start a new job.

I ran into a former co-worker from WFs and he tole me that even though they are handing out direct applications as the unemployment office they will not hire anyone unless they go through the temp-to-hire service. It sounds very fishy on WFs part. Why would a company refuse to hire somone because they came through the state unemployment agency?? Makes no sense, but it sets them up for a lawsuit if anyone did decide to sue. (not my cup of tea, I hate legal matters, too damn boring).

I plan on going this Friday (or even as late as Monday) to the temp-to-hire service and get the ball rolling on getting back on at WFs.

I think I will work BOTH jobs PJP during the day and WFs at night so I can hurry up and get bills paid and get me a new truck and get is paid ASAP. Then in a couple of years I can return to school for a possible 2 year vocational degree that is if the *possible-future* truck is paid for. I am not sure what field I want to go into but I need something quick that will boost my career potential and eventually get me set on the track to finish a 4 year degree. But I am not sure what. That is why I am going to wait a couple of years and do some researching and find what interests me the most and look at the local job market to see where I would fit into it.

Sounds like good exercise! Free work out as opposed to going to the gym? :giggle:

I used to work as a mail clerk for the insurance company and my job was pushing a mail cart to all the floors 8 hours a day 5 days a week. Man, did I lose a lot of weight from that job! LOL!

My job involves some moving but not as much as I would like to. :(

Congrats on the new addition!

And I am looking forward to tomorrow - I get my first paycheck, woot woot. Not sure what I am going to do with it. I do know that three things need to be done with it - 1.) daycare money, 2.) Gas for the truck, 3.) Ambulance bill.

I hope I have enough left over to put back for something nice later down the road to reward myself with.

Its a full moon here hehe .. I am tired goodnight

I had a carwreck two years ago, still paying on that damn bill.

Today is a cruddy day.

For starters on my way to work this morning I ran out of gas so I could not make it to work. then I had a friend take me to work to pick up my paycheck so that I could cash it out and buy gas. So I did all of that and thought well my work day is pretty well shot so I'll take the day off to go to the temp-to-hire place to see about getting back on at WFs.

Well I get there fill out a bunch of paperwork then they do a SSN check to see what my hiring status is at WFs, well they ran the number and it came back no-rehire. I was WTF?? So I wasted my morning there. So I though I'll go ahead and buy an MP3 player so I can listen to music while I work well I bought the thing and check on the box to make sure it was compatible with my OS, it said it was so I get home to install the software to put music on the player. I got a message that says the software is NOT compatible with my OS. Im so pissed. All of that for nothing!

So I sent an email to return inquieries to see if I can return the player and get my money back. Im not going to drive all the way back to Rsvl only to find out I cannot return it because it is already opened.

Oh yeah I bought a new bible and a new CD today that has the song Im signing to solo on July 8th.

Oh yeah I just looked at the Wal mart receipt--

So there's still hope. Im out to get my money back.

On May 29th, right after midnight, i was going out and collecting alum. cans, glass bottles, plastic bottles for recycling to get more money for gas and i found microwave that had some damage on it and then i brung it home and we(my wife and i) had small repairs on it and made it look like a new but only paint flakes came off and it works very well with heat in it.... Just like FREE microwave from Heaven!!!!!!! :D
