My son go back to school on Thursday! :hyper::hyper: I'll make sure to take picture! And stop by his school to drop off the supplies and meet his teacher and drop off his medication. Then I'll be free for whole day! LOL! :thumb:
 
Well, I now have a $2,000 bill to repair a vehicle....... I had me a fender bender - er more like fender crusher yesterday morning before work.

I was at the gas station to get me a coke and I got in my truck, and looked back in my rearview mirror - saw nothing so I put it in reverse to back out then CRUNCH!

I thought oh shit, what in the hell have I hit now?

So I got out and it was one of my coworkers who also had stopped for a cup of coffee. SHe was just sitting there and her eyes were big as saucers. So she got out to asess the damage.

I took out her passenger side headlight and turn signal, her bumper, her hood, her radiator, her hood latch, bent one of the side panels, her grille. Lemme think, yup thats it. And I had a small 6 inch scratch on my bumper. Hers appears to have been in a head-on collision but alas it wasn't. I felt awful for her as she had just bought the car three months ago. She drives a 200 Chevy Cavalier sedan so its a cheapo little thing which is probably 70% plastic. I drive a 91 Explorer with a steel bumper so damage to mine was minimal - not even claiming the scratch on my insurance. So we swapped information and I am claiming it on my insurance *hoping* my insurance will pay for the damages although my rates may go up. We also got it in writing that I was responsible for the damages to her vehicle since Im at fault. So if my insurance doesnt pay for the repairs I have to pay for it out of pocket.

So I get home from work, call my insurance company and informed them I had been in a fender bender with all of the major damage sustained to the other vehicle. The lady I talked to was nice, and she said on my policy, they will pay up to $2,500 of damage to the other vehicle, and also pay for her a rental car if she needs one. So for now Im relieved but Im not going to make any major purchases anytime soon until I get a statement from the insurance that the bill for repair has been taken care of. And oh yeah - mom and dad don't know yet. Not sure when Im going to tell them but I know dad will absolutely flip when I tell him how much the bill is for the repairs to the Cavalier.

But at least I have already contacted the insurance company and filed a claim.

Oh yeah turns out the girl I hit has NO insurance, so my rates may or may not shoot through the roof over that one.

*sigh* so much for purchasing a new camera this month........ at least no one was seriously injured.
 
i got sick and threw up at 5am lot and my hubby woke up and comfortabled me til my tummy calm down.. ugh.. so finally went bed at 630am smh.. Lulu keep on paw on my shoulder , he know i am sick.. that sweet of him.. but now i am ok and dont feel good

aww oh no.. I hope you will feel better! :hug: 24 hours virus is going around! ugh! TJ was sick with it Fri nite but now he is much better and is back at school! YAY! :)

I rent a movie for tonight. I hope the film, "I think I love my wife" is very funny. I love Chris Rock. Will watch the movie and sit down with a big orange soda and big bowl of popcorn with real butter.

Still have no Internet at home cuz Verizon really really screwed up badly. They r sending us a new modem but it keeps getting delayed. This is so frustrating. Anyways, that's why I haven't been on much lately in addition to being so busy with work, the new house and kids.

Iam accessing to AD via my SK2 and it is slow so iam limited to maybe no more than 2 to 3 posts a day.
