I had insomina last night and have been up since 5 am ... grrr.. i hope i will sleep good tonight... TJ planted his sunflower seeds in the planter box and hope they will grow with tlc and alot of water n sun! He is very exciting.. hehe :fingersx:

we had homemade taco for dinner.. it was delicious! :drool: yummmy... then had french twirl topped with chocolate syrup over it.. ohhhhh delicious!!!! its heaven for me! :giggle:

Last night I had toddler induced insomnia! LAst night I had to get up with Maddie no less than SEVEN times bofore she went to sleep and stayed asleep. First she wanted in my bed, then she needed to go potty, then she needed a glass of water, then she needed to go potty again, then she wanted in her bed, then she wanted her water, then she wanted to go potty again. I finally had to say NO MORE!!!!!! Up 8 times before midnight, I think alot of it was the fact that she did not want to go to bed.

Then yesterday - I found out I got drafted into the Church's Indepence Day drama play and I have to go try on this GOD AWFUL LOOKING FRILLY LACED JACKET, and I'm supposed to be signing in this crap? I tried telling the guy we'd be better off wearing dark shirts and Wrangler pants for that stuff. (Not that Id look sexy or anything, more likely my love handles would be hanging out but still....) but OH NO he would not hear of it. How can I convince this guy that too much 'noise' on the clothes will drown out the signs? He said that alot of the other signers would be in other parts of the play so they wouldn't have time to change, and I am like then fine I will wear the plain clothes so at least some of the signs get across. *sigh* sometimes I feel like beating my head on a brick wall. Oh well its his play if he wants the ASL lost in the background fine, it is not any skin off my nose. Maybe I need to get God involved to tell this guy, HEY LOOK IF YOU WANT MY MESSAGE TO GET THROUGH THEN YOU'LL LISTEN TO THE REDHEAD! :lol:

Hopefully I can do some convincing but in a nice way and say hey look this is what is going to happen, you don't want the message lost due to a costume conflict.

Last friday I went to the meatpacking plant, as enticing as the potential pay is, I honestly do not believe it will work out. For one their shift starts at 2:30pm, my friend that I was going to ride with doesnt get off from his part-time job until 4 and to be on the later shift you have to know how to drive a forklift (which I dont but I would be willing to learn). Today I am going to hit up Petit Jean Poultry and pray I get the early shift that is from 5:30am until 2:30pm. Id rather work very early in the day than the evening and over night shifts because I did that once and I do not miss the jet-lagged feeling. :D Plus it will give me extra time to spend with my DD in the evenings before I have to go to bed.

And today I learned many new signs and I have printed out a little personal ASL story to practice in front of the mirror then later this week I will make a video to share with you guys and you can tell me how I am coming along and what I need to work on. I hope to do it from memory. There is nothing like feedback from the experienced signers that can help me and encourage me.

FreakyCat - have you decided what we are going to do about possibly meeting up to work on my one-to-one sign skills? PM me when you get the chance. Thanks :)

wow my dsl was down for 4 days ugh! finally it got back on.. whew.. i miss computer lol! my fiance and i been busy clean our room closet, move winter clothes in other room, put summer clothes in our closets.. smiles..
 
i dont feel good today.. my body is aching all over.. my knees and my ankles are throbbing.. also my right hand too.. :pissed: i guess its one of those days... sigh..

yes dixie I had thougth about it.. but its gonna be hard cuz I live in Little Rock now.. when the school is out.. I will have TJ here with me and I will be able to go anywhere so after school is out in 2 weeks then we can meet.. its wrong time as I got few things to do before school is out.. all this driving back n forth to get TJ from school then back to Little Rock.. is eating my money! gas is almost 3 dollars now! :eek3: next month we should be able to come and meet somewhere in Morrilton, ok. I will PM you soon and we will talk.. :)

meanwhile have a great nite yall.. im gonna go and crash the bed now.. :giggle: :P

Thanks to my daughter's stomach virus, I am at home relaxing instead of working and running around like a chicken with its head chopped off! My daughter is feeling better today than she was yesterday.

Things will return to crazy tmw so I better grab the opportunity to relax and chill as much as I can today. :)

Dixie..kudos to u for walking so much! I need to get back to walking..grrrr
 
Thanks Shel - yesterday I piddled around too much and never got around to my hike.

This morning I had an interview at Petit Jean Poultry. The guy really liked me and asked if I could start tomorrow, I said sure. Then I didnt have my stinkin' Social Securtiy card! I lost it and I explained to him that I would have to reapply for a new one. He said when I got that done to call back for another interview and they will get me set up. So I have to dig out my birth certificate and go to the SSI Office in Russellville Friday to apply for a lost SS Card.

Also I got a phone call yesterday from the Health Dept wondering why I never renewed my DDs ARKids 1st insurance and I said I didnt know it was time for renewal, I never got any notice in the mail. Turns out they somehow managed to have the wrong mailing address on file so they corrected it and said I should expect something in the mail later this week. I told her to speak up over the phone because I am HOH and I said if I could go to the local office and do it there I would. Then she asked if I was HOH why wasn't my DD getting SSI due to my non-existant income. I said I didnt know if she qualified for it. She suggested I look into it, so I have been doing some Googling on it trying to find out what I can. With me being a single mom, every little bit can help. I just hope with the possibility of me going to work in the near future that I dont make too much for it. But do they have different leinences for those who are Deaf/HOH single parents?? I hope to put part of that money back for her college tuition. The earlier I start saving the better off it will be.

Shel, I hope your DD is starting to feel better soon, there is nothing worse than having a stomach virus and higging the toilet every 20 minutes because you move the wrong way. I hope you enjoy your relaxing day in the meantime. :)

i am cooking for my fiance before he go work, then folder clothes.. already appt for my hair on june 6 for wedding hehehe.. then at 530pm to 7pm going to sign language party.. then come home
 
No ones posted in this thread yet? You guys need to work harder at being more useless, lol. (just kidding)

Today I did a load of dishes, cleaned out the bedroom and bathroom, disinfected it, did some laundry, cleaned the living room up, and cleaned out my truck all before 11:00, woohoo I am on a roll. Nothing quite like being overly productive. :lol:

And I found my SS card! I hid it so good I forgot where it was, :lol: So I called the manager that interviewed me yesterday back and so I have to go in at 8:00 tomorrow to start the hiring process. I am sure that by tomorrow afternoon I'll be on the line doing something, likely breast trimming. But I will feel better when I see that paycheck in my hand. Hopefully by this time next year I'll have knocked out most of my bills and back on track to save for a decent truck and possibly look into buying a house. (I absolutely hate renting).

whew.. i went over my friend's at 11am and tried fit in my wedding dress, and there almost finish so it will be done by tuesday. i cant wait! hehehe... then came home, cooked dinner for my fiance and me before he go work..
 
Congratulations on your wedding TweetyBird. I can't believe your ticker now says it is only 20 days a away, thats little less than three weeks. I bet your starting to get the jitters.
