Gosh, I need to start coming to this thread more often..I am always attracted to the more controversial threads involving CIs and Deaf Ed.


My job is a teacher and yes, we move more than someone who has an office job sitting down all day but I do miss REAAAALLLY moving a LOT that gets my heart pumping! LOL!


I went for a 4 mile walk with my brother yesterday and my bum ankle is feeling like it is on fire. :pissed: at my ankle!!!!

I helped my brother move into his dorm at McDaniel's College..he starts his first class tmw. WISH U BEST OF LUCK DEAFCACTUS!!!!! ILY!

Dixie! I hope u get the forklift job!!!
 
The last 3 days have BEEENNN unbelievably perfect with the weather...DRY, WARM and SUNNYYY! My brother and I went to my gym all last week and we just soaked in the sun outside and swam..sat in the outside whirlpool. It was complete bliss...My husband said if all goes well with the house, I will have to give up my gym membership due to budgeting...WAAAAAAA!!!! I love my gym...it is like a spa resort. LOL! Anyone who has a Lifetime Fitness near their home...check it out and use me as a reference so I can get free months. :giggle:

I dont wannnnnaaa give up my membership but family comes first.
 
I am just relaxing and watch some TV before I go to bed around 10. I got three cans of spray paints (I am not sure how many I would need!) so I can start to paint the cabinet that I got it for free from storage (people don't pay the rent, everything go free and donate $ for charity). It is so dark! YUCK! I need to paint primer first...good thing we have some in laundry room so I can put primer then spray paint. :thumb: So I got few things for free yesterday :) So I'll put 'new' cabinet in our bathroom and take plastic drawers out (to use somewhere else in the house).
After I am done with the cabinet, the next will be my son's dresser, it need to be strip down and stain it. I hope it comes out beautiful. And change the drawer handles, that's about it.

So hope things are well for ya! :thumb:
 
I havent heard anything on the Forklift job yet but we'll see how it goes.

I also asked to learn a new line job today just to get to do something different and they said no - not enough people.

Appearently they scheduled too many people to be off on vacation the same weeks, it was like this last week too.

And today was ridiculous for bones. We had USDA as well as the dept supervisor, the plant supervisor, and two line foremans over there watching the bone checking people like a hawk. My supervisor said she got wrote up but I am like how? It is not your fault they choose not to do their jobs and to scoff at you for doing yours. She agreed but nothing she can do about it except come down harder on those people specifically in the future. I forsee alot of position shuffling tomorrow at work. 4 or 5 people got sent to the office today and got wrote up for leaving bones in the meat. Im just glad I was doing a good job and not having to worry about getting in trouble.

Oh yeah my mom said there were alot of people that got fired today at her job for being illegal immigrants, another refused a drug test, and another got fired for mouthing off to one of the supervisors. I hope with the firing of the 2 illegals, I hope they get the SSA in there and start checking SSNs and unfortunately for that company more than half of the employees there will be illegals and they will be forced to removed known legal people from the no rehire list and hire them back to be operational.

I am gonna go out in few minutes and start paint again. I mean the cabient. I forgot take picture before. DUH ME! LOL! Spray paint too much work..so I go ahead do paint then. I found some paint in the laundry room, whew!

My pizza store has been pretty much self-destructing and a lot of the people have been quiting to find jobs with healthy places. The owners are angry, the managers are getting frazzled and the drivers are pretty much turning the place into a revolving door. I don't know what will happen next, but if I can make salary before the store finally collapses, I might be able to get a transfer to a better store. . . . .oh well. On monday we got 30 orders for the entire day, which is pathetic.

I'm pretty much fed up with college (CSU) at this point, I don't want to waste any more time learning marine biology or african-american studies when I want to be learning about how cameras work and how to compose images. :pissed:

At least I got the CD burner on my computer up and running again, so I'm very happy about that!
 
i will have babysitter for my new god daughter today.. hehehe!!!
 
It was another bad day for bones - it was worse than what I posted earlier. Flat out pathetic. Once again I do my job well so I was definitely no where near getting into any trouble. My supervisor came up to me today and said out of all the breast meat people - you're actually one of the better ones considering you're still not officially qualified, it just looks bad on me right now because I am on one of the worst lines for bones.

I did get to work at a new position the otherday - I hung birds. Oh man was that different. I thought it would be easy even though they do not process legs, thus the birds have no legs. I was used to having legs on the birds to hang with - ha ha - I dropped more birds in that 2 hour span than I ever did hanging at the other chicken plant. Youd go grab a wing, only problem is that that bird that is attacthed to that wing is buried under 3 or 4 other birds that were wingless. My luck was that the day I got to hang birds was the day they ran alot of that salvage crap - alot of it trash but we have to process it nonetheless because the company is one of Tyson's outsourced processors. the company gets paid by how much meat they save when they process the chickens.

And Im a few dollars closer to a new vehicle, but so far no vehicle. I hope to have made enough with this paycheck that I can officially knock out that ambulance bill in one blow and get it over with so I can start hammering on other bills.
 
So :pissed:. My laptop power cord isn't working so now im without my pc and need to spend $50 dollars to get a new cord:pissed:
 
I guess I spoke too soon about my SK! Oh well! Anyway now I am looking for new one under Sprint. So I am a bit stuck what to get! I wanted with camera but most Treo do have it. But problem with Treo, there is no AIM. My friend told me soon no more. :( So anyone have Treo (any kind) and using free AIM, please PM me. Thanks! I like Treo more than BB. I will go by Sprint store to look around and see which device I would probably get soon.

I am going thru empty nest syndrome right now, my youngest son moved out yesterday. I am happy for him and scared for him at the same time.

I am finally well rested after helping my friend move into her new house on Friday and Sat...was so hot and humid so yesterday, I just wanted sleep all day but couldnt due to my son. Today, I went to work (summer teaching job)..was the first day with the kids and I was struggling to stay awake. Thank goodness my summer job is only 5 hours each day so when I got home after work, I crashed..no hubby and no kids!

I am on pins and needles waiting for the sellers to accept the addendums for the repairs...ugh! I want to know if we are buying a house this year or not but I keep telling myself patience..:pissed:
 
im still around... oh im not going anywhere.. just been here and there... its just that my dh cut phone off without talking to me about it.. jeez.. i was upset about it cuz he should have thought of me and tj as hes at work overnight if someone broke in or house got on fire.. how will we call 911 then?? duh at him.. sheesh.. but anyway me n tj are fine... im here at tjs father's work to use his computer to check emails and say HI to all of you! :) :)
