I like to find caves, trails and looking for animals

I love to look for waterfalls. There are many in upstate New York.

I may seem odd.... but nature... I like to find the rhythm of the area... just allow nature to seep into me... I like to walk through the forest and just feel it all... I do not really seek anything while camping except nature... if I find a cave ...awesome, a waterfall... cool but I am just as happy finding a tree that has had to struggle to live in its location. And reading the story it has to tell ... I enjoy walking under the canopy of a tree and looking up through its leaves to the sky.... I enjoy finding the small struggles and the great flourishes of nature.... I expolor everything that I can. ...

I am getting old for camping but I used to love to camp and just sit there on the campground, enjoyed the nature and sometimes I went fishing whether in the lake or streams.

I used to travel a lot as long as I had enough money to save. Now I am not make enough money to travel anymore. At my age, I am very tight on my budget.

If I can be able to travel and camp, then I would love to camp on the Powwow grounds in different states and enjoy watching the dancers and be among the gathering of Native people. That would make my day. :D

This dancers are from Mexico, not from USA and Canada. In Canada where we have dancers from Mexico came to some of our Powwow grounds to perform their dances. This is different.

I would rather see the dances in traditional powwows (no prizes) and sometime in Competition dances for prizes. I love to sit with Elders and watched our young people, even some in middle ages to Elder dances. We love to be in the gathering to share our traditional talents, including giving us for blessing with gifts and to get to know family and friends including new native people who might be from all over the world. There are some young people who would want to know about traditional culture from us, Elders. So it was important to pass down to them so not to lose culture. Children are our future. :cool2:
