If someone, such as a friend or even a family member....asked you to take a urine specimen for them?....They have been smoking marijuana and it takes 30 days to remove from your system...So...would you do it or not?

No way, Jose

Nope. I don't want to be culpable in someone else's crime.

That's aiding and abetting. And enabling. Plain and simple.

If it takes 30 days to clear the system, then my assumption is the person is a constant or heavy weed smoker. If I were you I would think really hard about the ramifications before you hand over your pee. Do you want to keep enabling the person? Then say yes. He/she will inevitably start seeking you out and take advantage of you. Believe me it's such a slippery slope so I would strongly recommend that you say no and stay out of it or be ready to go along for a long stressful ride.

Absolutely not.

All my friends and family would know better than to even ask me to do that.

interesting if the donated pee is pregnant and druggie pee male. dope be right word...seriously big trouble doing that unfortunately it can be done the drug person pee in front of someone and you never would know different pee..thing is people have a price

So . . . I am probably going to catch some crap for this, but I have actually done that for someone. I can't honestly say I regret it, but they do. They were fired a few months later for failing another test. If they hadn't used my urine to get that job, they wouldn't be having so much trouble finding a job now, as they have to explain in all of their interviews why they were fired from their last job.

Does this make me a terrible person?:Ohno:

But to answer the question of would I again . . . definitely not for that person, but there are always exceptions to every rule, and there are a few laws I would break for family without remorse.

Thanks for being open & honest...as for there being exceptions to every rule...I don't feel this is one...family or not.

No, I won't... it's a way to lose his/her job for dishonesty. This person's job won't last long if you help him/her with the urine exam. The employers will know and find out one way or another. It wastes employers time and money to fire someone for dishonesty and hire someone to replace.

It's not worth your time to be fired and then looking for a job again being frustrated not being able to get hired again.

Yes, believe it or not!...I was very livid and had some very bad choices of words for that person....they knew that here in Florida, marijuana is not legal. Anyhow, that person did find someone else to do it for them....and to my knowledge, ur own urine, when they test it, will show up many other diseases too....and to use someone's else's urine?...Suppose that person had a disease?...

Years ago, this woman has heavily into drugs and was reported to CPS as she had several minor children at home....a CPS worker went to her home and told her she must do a urine specimen....the CPS worker did not follow the woman to the bathroom for the testing!...The woman got one of her son's to do the test...so she passed....

Seems to me, that CPS should or would be required to be in the room while someone is testing....

No siree bubs! There's no room in my life for such people. If I find out any friends are onto hard drugs, they will get dropped out of my life.

Of course not and I am being honest about it, RR.

Since helping someone cheat on a urine test benefited no one, I guess that means you enabled that person for no good reason?

When we did our urine testing for drugs in the Navy, it was random (that is, no advance notice), and we had to be observed making our "donation." That means, keeping the stall door open (for women), and facing each other. I've been observed, and had to serve as an observer. It's no fun but it has to be done. Also, the corpsman logging in the sample would check the temperature of the sample to make sure it was "fresh."

Added:

The observer had to see "positive flow," meaning you had to see the urine streaming from the body.

Yeah you did the right thing. Gotta look after numero number one. I don't ever want to go through that ever again. Not for anybody! I don't care even if it's for a best friend or a close relative. If they get ticked off and don't speak to me again, then so be it.

I applaud you for admitting to that. If I was in the same boat I might consider it IF the friend was about to lose his/her house and is currently going through rehab to kick the addiction. Sometimes we need a second chance and it might be a just a helping hand.

But it's a shame this person ended up fired anyway, oh well, some people can't be helped and sometimes the best thing you can do for them is walk away.

Absolutely no way.

A little off topic but......when my husband and I had just started dating, the lady who cut his hair asked him if he would consider being a sperm donor. I was sitting there when she asked him. OMG!!!.....he said no.
