Watched Twister today! So old... so cool... takes me back to the Early 90's... I think... lol!

I just read an article where he addressed this complaint by saying if you didn't like the film, f&&& you....talented guy I'm sure.
Digital Extremes unveiled a video game version of "Star Trek" just weeks before "Star Trek: Into Darkness" hit theaters, but the product's release was no boon for the film's reception. At least that's how JJ Abrams sees things.
The director sat down with Gamerhub.tv this week and hinted that the glitchy game's release might have actually contributed to lower box office sales.
"For me, emotionally, it hurt because we were working our [you-know-whats] off making the movie and then this game came out and it got — this isn't even my opinion — it got universally panned. And I think that it was something without question that didn't help the movie and arguably hurt it."
In addition to the product's technical problems, reviews on sites like GameSpot griped that "Star Trek: The Game" "reduces the inimitable Kirk and Spock to the role of gun-toting foot soldiers." Metacritic gave it super low scores as well.
"I think the thing that we all know, anyone who loves video games and loves movies… very, very rarely does a movie based on a game, or a game based on a movie, really work," said Abrams.
"It usually ends up being something that everyone who goes to see or goes to play feels like this was a marketing decision made by a room full of people who wanted to capitalize on a title. That's no way to make a game and no way to make a movie."
He added that "whether it's a video game or a book or a movie or a song," if it needs to "exist on its terms" and not be an "ancillary product" in order to succeed.
Abrams announced on Friday that he will not be directing the next "Star Trek" film, telling StarTrek.com that he will be involved in developing the story but that a director has yet to be hired.
When Polygon reached out to Abrams, he confirmed that he was currently working with Valve Software to develop either a game idea of his own or to make a film out of the games Portal or Half-Life.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
First of all, I ****ing love the sequel which is directed by the same person as the first one. Now, the only thing came to mind about the original TCM is, "What the ****?" Why this movie is highly praised is a mystery to me. One of the most boring movie I've watched that happen to have good reviews. The most boring scene - when a chick walks into someone's house without invitation, she goes into a kitchen. The director wanted us to look around the room so for the next few minutes, we get to see boring stuff that made out of skeletons. Another ridiculous scene toward to the ending where the big truck stops for the main character while she is being chased by Leatherface. The driver helps her out by letting her in and then both gets out through the other door instead of just lock the door and drive away. Stupid. I don't care if it was made in 1974 but I say this is a horrible movie.
Martyrs
One of my favorites. I get to watch special features this time and the director made it sound like the work is really hard and frustrating. I always thought all the directors knew what they're doing and what they want. One of the worker said that the director doesn't know what he want but he knows what he doesn't want. I thought the special features "the making of Martyrs" was interesting. As for the movie, my mouth kept dropping the first viewing but not so much on the second time. It's still an amazing movie, though.
Scanners
I honestly do not know what to say about the movie because I was expecting a horror movie. Pretty good thriller/Sci-Fi, I guess. I suppose it's a good movie... I was really impressed with the gore in the opening where a guy's head blew up. It looked so realistic concerning the movie was released in 1981. That scene was so quick that it didn't give me a chance to see that it was a made doll. So I thought that part was really fantastic. (The 80s was a good decade for those with creative minds to make sure the gore look as real as possible.)
Happy Birthday to Me
It's both a good and bad movie. First I don't like slow pacing stories, especially for a slasher movie. I partly like the ending, it's the "twist" part I thought was so stupid.

How good do your discount movies work? I have gotten some and they where no good. I check out the disk before buying them but that still does not help.
I buy most of my VHS at local Good Will stores. I've only had a few problems with video playback but problems will happen eventually. VHS tapes do expire.
As far as DVDS go, I don't bother buying those unless theyre in mint condition.
Saw Iron Man 3 - it's just okay. I was surprised to see Shane Black directed this movie and co-write. Shane Black probably best known for writer of Lethal Weapon 1 & 2 and was in Predator.
Planned to watch Hangover 3 later today.
