What to Toss, What to keep?

:lol: my hubby has a lot of cards here too, comic books as well and he found out some of them how much they are worth.. if you want to know I can ask him where in the www you can find out the value..

I kept old magainzes (True Romance, love story, etc in 1980). I repeat to read them sometimes. Leftover wools (after finish knitting or crochet), birthday cards, greeting cards, love letters (that´s time my husband to be & I wrote each other)... My hubby kept over 100 "Asterix & Obelix" comics when he was little boy. My sons loves to read them... Alot of leftover handicraft materials..... I collect alot of old things to use my craft works.... All are at work room in basement...
I kept old clothes, shoes, full of school books, novel books at attic... Crazy!!! I´ll clear the stuff when I has the time....

Only 4 are empty bottles of Cokes and Big Red Bottles too....I only have 2 that has never been opened...I don't think I would dare to taste it ...geeze, I don't even know how long it has been!...I do have 2 cans of pespi (that never been opened either ) with Cleveland Indains baseball team on the back after they played for the World Series...been 6 years now!...
 
Gee, I should not thrown a tall, twisted Pepsi bottle with puff strings. Oh, well. I won it at festival in Ohio long ago. I do collect some Cleveland Indians stuff (designed baseballs, for example). I found one coolest Cleveland Indians baseball at 7-11 store in Las Vegas out of blue, so I bought it myself. It is awesome red flame design. I will take picture of it when I get back home this summer. You will get an idea what it looks like.

Yeah, I used to crochet blanket for my Grandma when I was little girl. I love crocheting...
I´m still crochet accessories like mat, tablecloths, small pretty pillows, Butterflies, & cover the plastic drop, Easter eggs, ball, Xmas ball, round like picture etc to hang the windows to show pretty things off...
After finish crochet then do handcraft with pretty materials like ribbons, flowers, etc on the top of drop, Easter egg, ball etc.

Only I crochet blanket but other more than werid crochet shapes on blanket still learning.. :)
I'm doing on popcorn crochet bumping blanket it's looks cool awesome.. This is my first time.. I used to be crochet as normal as knit..
 
I'm horrible at cleaning stuff out -- I still have unopened mail in my drawers. Mostly junk anyway. Every couple months or so I try to go thru my stuff and throw away what is unnecessary -- there are some documents/history that I am never sure about. I always keep photographs (if they're good shots, otherwise if they're blurry, boring they go into the recycle bin).

I never keep party invitations. I do keep some postcards, especially if they're from my male friend in the Netherlands. I used to keep my ex's correspondence, now they're somewhere else in someone's recycled paper. Actually I have over 500 'freebie' postcards (that you find in retro restaurants) from a few years of collecting.. now I have no idea what to do with those.

I still have a box of medals and awards from swimming competitions. I'm never sure what to do with those, I doubt I'd display it since they're so old, and I have way too many of them to narrow down to just one or two.
 
easy answer for me to say.. i keep alot of old recpits eh from my work and uh alot of old letters and pixes from h.s and uh alot of old make-up but I recently got rid of old make-up last summer but seems like I will have to throw out again later on probably next year cuz most are new and some are old I'm weird I know :roll: hm my bedroom is messy but I pah cleaned the floor last weekend cuz alot fo trash and little things I kept forgetting to get rid of like bags that I got from shopping along with new stuff ;)

Umm, I like to keep cotton pretty materials that I can sew patchwork to make a quilt/cushion.

I like knitting, but the wool is so expensive, as it is cheaper to buy jumper than knit one here, I buy off cut wools for crochet to make rugs and blankets, as I love it so much.

I keep photos and I don't keep birthday cards/christmas cards as I throw it away as soon as its over.

I keep my school medals for swimming, speech merit and House Captain badges as I went to oral school, and I am thinking of putting all medals and badges on patchwork blanket one day as I went to Quilt Exhbition show yesterday and thought it is clever idea!

I must admit I am crazy about Portmerion plates, and Tupperware as I stop in buying more as I nearly got all as I was Tupperware Dealer few years ago. I keep my eyes open on Mohair Teddy Bears and Porcelain dolls as I only buy it if I have the money.

I throw away Woman magazines as soon I finish reading it, as I cannot stand to keep old dates magazines, but craft magazines, its lifetime to read or make it from time to time, and photocopy it to give my craft friends!
 
I collect my change even though I didn't want them. Now Im collecting pop cans and bottle now minatures ones! (6 fl oz cans and 12 fl oz bottles) heh!
