I am wondering what kind of Jewish are you? I am going to convert to Messianic Judaism and I am so happy I found that religion. I have so much faith.

I'm sorry, I'm still confused. I thought that Messianic Jews were people who were born Jews, and then accepted Jesus as Messiah (Savior). If you were a Gentile and accepted Jesus as Savior, then that would make you a Christian, not a Messianic Jew.

That is what I thought too. Ive dated a few Jewish men and have a few very close girlfriends who are Jewish. If they believe in Jesus, it means they accepted Jesus, becoming Messianic Jews.

I have not heard of a Christian converting into Messianic Jew-but rather Christians converting into Reform Jews. I almost converted to Judaism and took courses at University of Judaism in Los Angeles but did not complete the process.

You're missing a number of movements in the poll, such as Reconstructionist and Liberal movements. Judaism isn't cleanly divided into Orthodox, Conservative and Reform--Those three are not the only denominations. That and really no one considers "Messianic Jews" to actually be Jews, so they're not really a denomination--They're Christians and don't belong on this poll.

Anyone who accepts that Yeshua is (or was) the Messiah is a Christian... "Messianic Jew" is just a silly term a few Jews that converted to Christianity came up with in a vain attempt to be connected with their heritage after disowning themselves from it. You'd have a tremendous amount of trouble finding anyone who is Jewish who considers "Messianic Jews" to actually be legitimate Jews... If you're going to completely give up your religion and your heritage, you can't go back and say it's yours--You can't have both ways. "Messianic Jews" are an illustration of this disparity--People who want to be connected with a heritage they've personally rejected.

As for Messianic Jews and "Jews for Jesus"... Neither are recognized as Jews within any of the Jewish movements. As far as Jews are concerned, if you believe that Jesus is the Messiah, you're not Jewish. Period.

I am jewish since birth from my both jewish parents. I raised up in a jewish home and had been seek for the truth of Messiah [COLOR=DarkRed[B]]Y'shua[/B][/COLOR] till I was 17 years old and spoke to a deaf pastor about Y'shua (a jewish way to say JESUS). I considered where I was going after i die? I know in my heart that I do not believe in Y'shua and go to hell without HIm. I made a choice to have Y'shua in my heart as My personal Savior while I prayed to God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. I knew in my heart that I can go to Heave through Y'shua[/COLOR] when I will die. I have full of joyful in my heart! Now I am 41 years old and want to tell you that God already called me to be missionary to the deaf jews when I was 18 years at senior high school because I have burden for any deaf jews for [B[COLOR=DarkRed[/COLOR]]]Y'shua.[/B] Now I am offically missionary to the Deaf Jews since 1982. By the way I am truly Messianic Jew myself.

Second, I tell you what means "MESSIANIC" to you? It means christians. Messianic is a hebrew word for Christian. Jewish and Gentile people can be Messianic as Christian.

Yes Ayala920, Jewish people are both a race and a religion. Look throughout your Torah for frequent examples of race-mixing when God warned the jews not to race-mix and look what is happening today with the jews in Hollywood and mass media in high positions of government function are pushing for race-mixing really hard on the American people and the American people are starting to wake up and say no more to race-mixing and garbage movies and turning off the t.v. or not paying to go to the theatres to see race-mixed movies and garbage movies made and inspired by jewish Hollywood as these movies really brainwash and train people subconsiciously to submit to jewish control and authority and the American people really resent that. More and more Americans are not going to destroy themselves through what the jews force upon America.

When the Gentile Americans had control of Hollywood, they made many good movies with good moral values and not like what we see and get today from jewish inspired Hollywood made movies.

Jews always deny they are of a different race but jewish people will say they are of a religion but they never will say they are of a different race because the jews do not want you to know the real truth behind their jewish agenda.

How is it that jews refuse to race-mix but will heavily force it on the American people en masse when Americans deep down inside do not want to race-mix and the weaker ones submit to race-mixing then wake up and see what the jewish Hollywood and mass media are trying to do then they reject race-mixing because their eyes have been opened. I love studied Old Testament in Bible. I interested and met deaf jew lady. I learned her lot story life and history. We always dicussed Old Testament.

Can you name a Rabbi of any major movement that would support your claim to being a Jew? Unless you can, then no, you're not a Jew anymore.

Part of being a Jew is not leaving the community--Converting to Christianity counts as leaving the community by pretty much any logical metric.

...Abraham didn't believe Yeshua was the Messiah. King David didn't either. Part of the problem of living an dying long before someone else is going to be born is you'd never get to meet them. Nonetheless, there is no mention of a Messiah in Genesis at all, so I don't see how it could even be *possible* for Abraham to have believed Yeshua was said Messiah when the *idea* of a Messiah didn't even exist yet in his time.

Actually, Jews rejected and disrespected Jesus Christ so that would make me Pro-Jesus Christ plus Jesus Christ knew how to handle the jews and Jesus Christ excelled at this because Jesus Christ was a jew himself. Jesus Christ healed Deaf people, the blind and the jews hated him so much for that and in Leviticus 19:14 KJV Holy Bible, God had to come down and tell the jews to leave Deaf people alone and the jews today do not obey that. Look at the Deaf schools funds being cut if Deaf schools do not teach politically correct subjects and then the jewish controlled U.S. Dept. of Education will refuse to grant Deaf schools or universities money that are much needed for a solid Deaf education without anything else attached to the educational needs.
