What kind of dog poop laws do you have?

That is the law in Boston , if I was blind I would never be able to pick up my dog poop up as he does dump his poop all over the place , it not in one pile it in 3 small piles spread around .

Just because it is the law in Boston does not mean you can take advantage of it.

I am very sorry to see you having this "If I was blind" self-entitlement attitude and I refuse to allow blindness stop me from doing what I always did; sighted.

I think in my area, it is $200. My dog has a fake bone on her collar and inside the fake bone there is a roll of small trash bags used for picking up her poop. I love it!

It's a shame people continue to use the laws to keep stereotypes circulating.

Blind people can clean up after themselves.

I have a small fire hydrant on my leash with a roll of bags inside.

Wish I could "toilet train" my doggie!...Especially on rainy days when she "refuses" to go out into that kind of weather!....She'll fart and fart! That's the sign she's gotta go but is holding it in until it stops raining....

Lil'Bit is like that! :giggle:

Daisy my BT that lives with my parents is exactly like that too. She would rather poop in the basement than get wet.

She's famous for her SBDs- Silent But Deadly farts.

It is always the little ones that toots the most whereas the big ones just rips it once in a while.

My dog is a Jack Russell, wimp for rains but loves swimming even in the middle of freezing cold winter... strange dog!

He would do SBD farts, looks at his butt then moves away, leaving me to pass out from the deadly whiff... URGGGH! Creep!

I'm not sure what it is if they catch you not picking up after your dog, but in n. nv if your just walking your dog and you don't have a bag on you it is $150 just for that. So my guess is that it is even more expensive if they catch you walking away from it.

Wow , they're really strick in Charleston SC having people pick their pet poop off their property right away. What if someone is really sick and let their pet out to go , I did that only once with my dog .as I was very sick . I hope my mayor does not read this blog and get any ideas!
Yeah, $1,092 is a lot of money but Charleston is the city that made its horses wear diapers.

The diapers catch the poop but the horses still urinate on the streets so each time a horse pees the carriage driver drops a bright flag with a weighted base on the spot. Then, the carriage clean up crew comes by with disinfectant and water and cleans the area.

That has to look funny horses wearing diapers! Do they get a diaper rash? I use to take my dog to a park to run but I stopped going as there was a lot of horse poop on the ground. We had to pick up after our dogs but the horses owners did not have to pick up after their horse, and when they poop is it huge. I heard of seeing mini horses wearing diapers so they'll not poop on the floor in the house and they wear sneakers so they will not mess up the floors. I know people would not put diapers on their horses in my city.

You can train a dog to use a toilet. I saw a photo of a dog taking poop on a toilet, he was sitting on the seat it looked funny. I wonder if the dog ever missed the toilet. Is your dog a small dog , maybe you train it to use a catbox if small enough to get into one.

I am not trying to be self-entitlement ,I pick up after my dog. I am not blind , I was thinking it would hard for a blind person to pick up poop that was
shattered all over the ground, I have miss some poop this way and stepped in it. Yuck!

It's a city law for all the carriage and police horses; people don't have a choice.

They're called diapers but they don't look like people diapers.
