What Kind Of Animal Would You Be?

*Looking around innocently* Don't understand you Karissa...*Chuckles*

I love the platypus idea Nan! Incredibly cute and incredibly individual! Doubt they are as kind as you are though!

I could have sworn I answered this similar question before. :dunno: oh well here we go - a giraffe. Nobody bothers me and I get to chomp away on veggies all day long while enjoying the view.

giraffe couldnt live longer because they died of being tall.

I've been always said that I am a Boar(Pig) from Chinese Zodiac Astrology, but when I evaluate myself from a non-cultural perspective I think I tie more in relation with a Cat or Owl. Not so much cat as playful, much more the observant form. Owls watch their prey ;).

From them said:
Contrary to its rather negative reputation in the West, the Pig of Chinese Astrology may be the most generous and honorable Sign of the Zodiac. Pigs are nice to a fault and possess impeccable manners and taste. They have so much of the perfectionist in them that others may be inclined to perceive them as snobs, but this is a misconception. Pigs are simply possessed of a truly luxurious nature, one that delights in finery and riches (in surroundings, food, lovemaking and otherwise).

This Sign believes in the best qualities of mankind and certainly doesn't consider itself to be superior. Pigs also care a great deal about friends and family and work hard to keep everyone in their life happy. Helping others is a true pleasure for the Pig, who feels best when everyone else is smiling. A Pig with no one around to appreciate its giving nature is a sad sight. Pigs are so magnanimous they can appear almost saintly; this can lead some less-than-well-intentioned souls to stomp all over this Sign, and the bad news is, the Pig will take the blows! Pigs make great companions in part because of their refusal to see the more negative or base qualities in a partner, but that rose-colored view can lead to this Sign's allowing itself to be taken advantage of.

Contrary to their seemingly benign dispositions, however, Pigs can be quite venomous in response to being crossed by a lover, friend or business partner.
Pigs are highly intelligent creatures, forever studying, playing and probing in their quest for greater knowledge. They can be misinterpreted as being lazy, however, due to their love of reveling in the good stuff; this Sign could happily spend hours on end making love, napping, taking a long bubble bath or dallying over an incredible spread of rich foods. Pigs tend to make wonderful life partners due to their hearts of gold and their love of family. Even so, Pigs can be rather exclusive, choosing to spend time with those who will appreciate them most and ignore the rest of the populace. Pigs would do well to realize that there's more to life than being needed. When they open up their world to a diverse group of people, they will truly bloom.

:hmm: wonder if I should start a Chinese animal thread without derailing this
Edit: Done -> Don't post your chinese animal here, go here

*Smiles* Sure can...The Animal In You Personality Test

According to this test, I am a...Mountain Goat (bit shocking, that)

There's a great deal of similarity between the mountain goat and its fellow ungulate the sheep. But this enigmatic creature stands out from the crowd with its unique combination of alertness, generosity and unassuming charm. For the mountain goat is a loner. An edgy, introverted soul. who abhors crowds and puts is nimble legs to work in the great outdoors.

If you're looking for a scout guide or hiking partner, this sure-footed beast is an ideal choice. However, its talents as a leader are suspect. Because of its solitary existence, it does not have the insight into human behavior that is required for leadership. Mountain goats are not risk takers and need to feel solid ground beneath their feet before making any major decision. Mia Farrow is an exemplary mountain goat who manages to maintain her balance while snakes and rock-falls threaten to dislodge her grip on life.

The mountain goat's desire to find a mate can lure it from its solitary hideout, and it seeks partners with strong personalities that promise protection in an unfriendly world. However, when choosing a mate, it will quickly withdraws if it fails to get a commitment. This behavior is often interpreted as desperation and some relationships are doomed before they get off the ground.

A relationship with a mountain goat is an exercise in ups and downs. Even though its emotional fragility causes the premature death of many love affairs, provide its partner remains faithful, the mountain goat will honor it with commitment and fidelity. For mountain goats are unconditional with their love and try hard to make their relationships work. This species of ungulates has a special relationship with the eagle with whom it shares a common mountain

To my personality ego, that would be my scorpio which I don't want to be but I would love to become a bird like chicadee. I watched the chicadees outside of my house window and wish I could be like them.

LOL - Well, okay, I will tell you why I pick this animal. :P

Because...

A cougar is keenly sense of hearing and sight, a solitary creature, and is extremely agile that cougars can leap up to 20 feet. Of course, the cat is a capable stalk-and-ambush predator, and a slender. They are good swimmers. ;) Cougars can run pretty fast, up to 35 to 45 mph but are best adapted (sp) for short and powerful sprints rather than long chases. They are good at climbing, which allows it to evade canine competitors.

That is why I love cougars! :D

I already visited the link and the result said I am a bat. :ugh: Ugh, I don't like it!

Aww. You can be a cougar. In fact, I'd much prefer you being a cougar. Bats....Bats and I are not on speaking terms. Period.

*Grins* Mind, I don't care of bats are out and flying the night air. As long as they NEVER come within ten feet of me again, we'll be fine. I had a bat land on me once when I was sleeping INDOORS and had just had knee surgery. Never got over it.
