I'd agree totally here. People will talk about sexism and racism as being bad but seem to think ageism and Ableism is ok. I think ALL discrimination is bad. One is no more or less acceptable then another.
 
Combovers. If you're going bald up there, save what little dignity you have left and either shave it all off or invest in a very good hairpiece. And I don't mean one of those cheap-roadkill looking ones either, cuz that's just another pet peeve waiting to happen.

Vet told me that the dogs breath would improve If I let him do Teeth cleaning.
Yea right I've had how many dogs in my life time?
Then he said I could brush them for him and I actually did for a while but the smell of bacon breath (toothpaste flavor) was about as bad.
Now I just give him dental bones once a day. Helps a little.

and it's not even easy to brush teeth on dogs... Yea i use dental bones but I don't even like the smell of it :mad2:

shaved heads don't always look good for many people. It makes them look like a cancer patient or worse. It made me look like a psychopath from Natural Born Killers :mad2:

I agree, all discrimination sucks, I'm so mad at this man at where my mother works, because he is a pain anyway, and then he made a stupid comment about my vision and my *inability* to do certain tasks... *the only thing i cant do is drive...*

Lol, are serious? :lol:

Yeah i know not everyone can pull off the shaved head so that's why i mentioned a hairpiece. As for a combover, not even Donald Trump can pull that off. The fact that he has all of that ca$h and yet still refuses to do anything about it make it look even worse.

I usually freeze and panic and most teachers are nice enough to call on someone else. The ones who aren't have to endure a very long, very awkward silence, followed by me muttering something intelligible. And then they ask me to repeat myself which makes me even more nervous and mumbly.

<excellent posting> Ageism and ablism need to start getting the visibility that racism and sexism have. I'm making a site on ageism and collecting personal stories. If you're interested, send me a PM. <smile>
