I can confirm that, at least here in Slater IA. I took a pic of my indoor/outdoor thermometer clock that morning...

My average January temperature is 98.6 F :D




...and I don't want any reminders how cold it is outside in January :shock:
 
once in a while it wud hit low 20's to 30's in winter time overnight but during day time wud be real cold up to 40's to middle 50's ugh.. I don't like winter time that much but life goes on :P

Yeah, shorts and Hawaiian shirts when I was in south central New Mexico (not far from El Paso) for several years. Now, it's jeans and sometimes long sleeved shirts.
 
Between -20 and -40C in northern Alberta.

A few friends spoke about how cold it was out by the Edmonton airport... -50C or so...

Here it hovers around 5C.

Yep, I agree!!!!!! I felt -20°F last week Friday morning, wow! I had hard time breathing for sure.
